Winner!

Hello friends,
What happened to the sunshine? I was hoping for a good drying day but instead it was overcast.
Not to worry, I pressed on with some craft and the most important thing was
organising Bella to pick out a winner of my big giveaway!
I'm having to get super fast at getting photos, she has become wise and runs off once
she's picked out a name!
So the winner is.....
I think you can just about make it out...
SANDRA from Oxfordshire!!!
Congratulations!
Drop me an email and I will post off your box of goodies.
So some crafting..I have so many things in the pipeline that I just cannot share yet, a little
frustrating but then one of my comments yesterday inspired me to make something new (thank you Ali W).
Also, talking of yesterday's card - the stamp I used was from Heartfelt Creations.
Keeping with the purple and lilac ...
which also happens to be that lovely chocolate colour..
An easy way to personalise an Easter egg!
Steps:
1. Purchase egg (actually buy two because you need to eat chocolate when you craft!)
2. Roughly measure the height of your egg and cut a length of cardstock.
(I had a rather large egg so needed to make a join - it is covered with the ribbon).
3. Score twice to create the bottom where your egg will sit.
4. Decorate the front panel - I chose Classic Scalloped Ovals LGBauble Blossoms One and Foilage
cut from white felt. The stamped tag is cut and embossed from the Home Sweet Home set.
5. I used some adhesive to hold my egg in place.
6. Insert an eyelet and tie your egg bag with twine.
It didn't take too long at all and it truly makes a regular egg that little bit special.
Back tomorrow..I think I need butterflies....

Morning Christine, How thrilled I was to read that "you" had been inspired by "my" comment, when I have been getting all the inspiration from all your lovely ideas! The egg sleeve is a brilliant idea, it looks stunning, yet so simple to do. I really must get those foilage dies, I have been promising myself to buy them for ages, but sat on my hands as daughter's wedding coming up! So useful, I think I might treat myself for all my hard work as I'm off to do another batch of wedding stationery! Congrats to Sandra, you lucky thing, have fun with your goodies, Alison :)
