Bella, Thanks and a Giveaway!

Happy Sunday Blogland!
I'm having roast dinner cooked by my mum today - heaven!
A layout to share with you featuring...Bella (well, it makes a change from my sons!)
I've gone very pink and bold with Kaisercraft Lullaby papers,
I recall having wallpaper like this at home when I was a child in browns and gold!
I've used Layered Flowers with large gemstones in the middle,
Antique Frames and Accents for the black frame and cut two for the central black decoration
(I thought it mirrored her stripe down her face).
The letters are thickers - I think they were a green colour but I sprayed them liberally with
Cosmic Shimmer - Plum Twist - it does make the surface look a little like velvet.
Talking of Bella, she's had it a little easy lately so I think she needs to be put to work!
Time for a giveaway!
How about a set of dies....
Lacy Ovals
I have a brand new set to send out to a lucky follower.
Please leave me a comment and because it is Sunday tell me if you indulge in the traditional Sunday roast or prefer something different...food is just as important as craft you know!
I will ask Bella to pick out a winner and post the lucky name on Thursday.

Before I go - something else to show you ...
this beautiful card is from Sandra - the winner of my last giveaway.
Isn't it stunning and she kindly remembered my love (addiction!) to butterflies.
I'm so lucky to have such lovely follower friends.
Take care and I will be back tomorrow.

We always have a traditional Sunday Roast dinner and today it is Roast Beef with all the trimmings. Then I'll collapse on the settee in front of the tv for the afternoon - probably doze off. Later with renewed vigour I'll head to the craft room and finish off a card I've been making for a friend.
Love the layout for Bella - I would never have thought of using lace - you always think outside the box! Enjoy your sunday.

Good morning Christine & Family,
What a wonderful LO ! love what you have done with the letters and the paper is fab, it certainly shows off the star of the show !

As I live in Spain, I make a traditional roast dinner with all the trimmings one week, and then I make a paella the following week.
During the summer we enjoy eating either the roast or the paella in the garden surrounded by beautiful, sweet smelling roses and colourful geraniums..just perfect !
Sandra's card is fabulous ! Thank you very much for giving us all the chance to win such fab dies !
Enjoy your sunday !

I'd love to have someone cook my roast dinner as I usually cook one for my family of 8 children and 1 granddaughter after watching one of my son's play football. We occasionally break this up with a couple of my kids favourite chicken dishes - Coronation chicken and what we call 'Jenny's Chicken' as we first tasted it at a friend's house called Jenny! It's thin slices of chicken breast with coriander, parmesan and beaten egg - yummy!
Enjoy your Sunday!

Bella looks lovely on a vintage background surrounded by flowers. i have a very pretty westie and it's giving me ideas on a page for her. The card Sandra made is very impressive too, lots of inspiration there. My husband and I don't have traditional Sunday lunch but usually have a Chicken Casserole but with all the trimmings that go with Sunday lunch, but if my son and his family come then we do have the traditional Sunday lunch which we all enjoy very much, it takes some beating doesn't it.
Many thanks for the giveaway chance.

hi Christine - fab page and great card from Sandra -you always inspire. Although I grew up with the traditional Sunday roast and veg i became a vegetarian in 1988 and since then have a veggie version if the family is round or if not just make what I fancy on the day. However do prefer a family/friend mealtime as it is much more sociable.

Wonderful scrap book page, I must get on with my scrap book, and the card from Sandra is just so pretty, looks like I will have to add these to printrest :-) As for dinner today the sun is shining so a BBQ is on the menu
we rarely have a roast in our house, but occasionally treat ourselves to one out at a local restaurant.

Morning Christine,
I love the layout and Bella is just adorable and soooo cute too!!!
I also agree with you that the mirror border matches the stripe down bella's nose.
Sandra's card is lovely, I like how one of the papers used kind of matches with the flowers and swirls to embellish it.

I'm Not a big meat eater (I have to really fancy it to be able to eat it) but I do love my yorkshire puddings and stuffing so today my boys are having lamb while I have quorn with all the trimmings.
Have a great day

That's a cute layout of your Bella, she suits pink!

I don't do the traditional sunday roast, this is very often the day we go out with friends for a group ride on our GoldWings - I don't actually 'do' traditional at best of times, never cook a turkey for Christmas! Today I'm thinking either an afternoon tea (butties, cakes etc.) or a very late brunch :)

Thanks for the chance to win, you can never have too many spellbinders :)

Oh thank you Christine for putting the card I made for you on your blog. I just wanted you to know how very much I appreciate the time and effort you use to Inspire us everyday.
Thank you also to all the lovely Blog Friends for their very kind comments about the card. The papers I used are my some of my 'Special' papers that I hate to part with, I love them and they are only used for VERY SPECIAL friends!
The scrapbook page of Gorgeous Bella is beautiful.
No Sunday Roast for us, busy weekend travelling, it doesn't seem like Sunday without a roast, so like Friday Die-day on a Saturday, we are having Sunday Roast on Monday this week! haha
Crafty Hugs to all,
Sandra xx

Hi Christine,
What a lovely card, made all the difference by that gorgeous photo of Bella. She looks like she is thinking of what mischief she can get up to next.
We are very traditional with our meals Christine, roast dinners? can't beat them and I should say the most popular... Roast beef and all the trimmings. Thank you for a chance of winning those dies, I have always wanted a set of those, but I am just starting to use Spellbinders and have to save up for them, hee! hee! Take care Jean

Such a cute LO and a great card, to boot. I love a nice roast beef Sunday dinner with onions, carrots, potatoes...but I don't cook much so I'm happy with whatever someone will fix. I do a mean job of cleaning up the mess afterwards though, something most of my family and friends who like to cook dislike doing, so we all win. Thanks for letting us play along!

What a cutey you are.... No not you Christine, Bella! lol!! Love the layout, really pretty and I love the back to back borders making a very pretty lacey backdrop.
We have Sunday roast every week and my eldest son brings my grandson Jake and my daughter drops in after work. We tend to do it around 4pm so Sian can finish work and come straight here; so it is never a roast lunch, more a roast dinner. But hey it suits us and Jake likes it too. Please don;t enter me in the draw, as I have these dies already but thank you so much anyway.
Good luck everyone. Hugs Linda x

Hello Christine. We often have a Sunday roast, usually chicken or turkey, but this week we had homemade lasagne. Love the picture of Bella she is a real cutie. I have to whisper that so my mini Schnauzer Toby doesn't get too jealous!! although I'm really more of a cardmaker I am tempted to dabble in scrap booking and this is just the inspiration I need. Thanks Christine

Love the red & white gift bag, think I'll have to get the butterfly die (so much for cutting back on spending on stash!) We don't really do traditional Sunday roasts as hubby works silly shifts,so a roast can be any day that takes our fancy or if he is home on a Sunday I very often try a new recipe that we like the look of (from my mountain of cookery books!)
Thanks for the chance to win this great give-away.
Keep up the good work, love your designs

Hi Christine
I (personally) think there is nothing better than a Sunday roast with all the trimmings yummy, BUT today we have to forgo our sunday lunch as we have LOADS of errands to run so it will have to be boring sandwiches for us today. Your layout with the beautiful "Bella" is lovely, she looks like a very cherished little dog.
