Friday Die Day

Hello friends

Yes it's back - Friday Die Day and this week I'm featuring Flutter Love.
This is from the Die D-Lites range and the size of the dies are as follows:

Butterfly 1: ranges from ⅜ to ¼” (3)
Butterfly 2: 2⅛ x 1¾”
Heart 1: ranges from ¼ to ⅜” (3)
Heart 2: 2 ⅛ x 2”
Each die cut/embossed, pretty!
I've decided o a tag this week and used the embossing only technique.
It's a good idea to lightly spritz your card with water first, this stops any crinkling at the edges.
A sentiment placed across the middle, lightly inked.
And then overlaid at an angle my vibrant red die cuts, a nice contrast with the kraft colour.
Loving the curly butterfly and the little ones are so useful, especially as you can die cut
three at a time.  Handy to cut a batch and keep in a jar!
Testing out my daylight lamp, the photos have got a shadow but getting there!
Flutter Love is available from the website shop here and it is on special sale to
coincide with FDD!  Don't forget if you order from the website you receive a free gift
and loyalty stamps if your product spend is over £10.

Lastly, thank you so much for all your birthday wishes, I had a lovely day although stern words
with Bella - she forgot to go shopping!  Sharing photos tomorrow.

Have a great weekend - anyone going Christmas shopping?
Take care friends.

Morning All.
Belated birthday wishes. thank you for your inspiration. I don't really do tags. It reminds me when a tag was put on my coat and I was put on a train from Liverpool to Hereford when I was three years old, I was so frightened. You make them look so pretty. Take care Kitty.

hi Christine - Another great fiday die die - love butterflies and this one is no exception. I have never used the emboss only technique with dies and will certainly give it a go now as I have some dlites that I think would look effective. Have a good weekend - take care
:) .

Lovely techniques with one Christine, very versatile dies and so helpful to have multiple die cuts from one pass.
If Bella is anything like my corgis I bet she she was so excited to see you back she was sticking to you like glue. No amount of money can buy that sort of love! Anne x

Yeaa a tag and what an unusual one , i never think to do just embossing , i will have a go later Christine ,the butterflies are lovely i wish i had got these dies as well now i have seen how they turn out on card, they are really pretty .

I have done all my Christmas Shopping Christine and from my local shop that sells everything { it is a lot of stalls in a great big hanger type space },lots of home made items from jams to fancy decorated eggs ,and many stalls from wellingtons and outdoor wear to watches, crockery , scented candles it is a lovely place to visit and they do have coach loads of people to come during the run up to Christmas .

I have just got to finish a little girls knitted coat and then i am done .

What a beautiful little die set. I haven't seen this one before. You just cant beat a butterfly can you. (not literally) I like the idea of having the tiny hearts and butterflies too. Your tag looks brilliant, simple yet so effective.
Enjoy your day
Lesley
PS. Noticed a great picture of you yesterday on the Spellbinders facebook page.

Glad that you had a good birthday, I'm sure Bella will make it up to you at Christmas : ) I am shopping in Swindon, Wilts with my Mum today. Unlike nattyboots-Elaine H (well done, your local shops/stalls sounds great, where are they?) I haven't even started yet! Have a good weekend. Take care.

Hi Christine
Love the tag and the heart and butterflies that you have embossed onto it. I always forget that you can emboss dies. Fancy Bella forgetting your birthday, shame on her after all those lovely walks you take her on.
Your shops/stalks sound lovely Nattyboots whereabouts is it, if you have people coming from far and wide.

Lovely tag, I really like the 'embossing only' thing you can do with these wonderful dies, a whole new look :)

What a lovely set of dies - must put them on list (cant afford at the moment - saving for Christmas)
I really like the tag that you have done for FDD Christine.
Pleased you enjoyed your birthday, dont blame you for having stern words with Bella, guess she found that Crafty Seat of her's in the cabin far too comfy and your Birthday slipped her mind!
Charity Christmas Craft Fair tomorrow for me. Hope it kick starts me into Christmas!!
Have a good weekend.
Love Carolyn

Hi Christine. You only have to mention a butterfly to please me! I love these dies and the way you embossed the tag was really effective...I really must try it out :). The colour card you used to cut out the dies is really nice, and is that the new Spellbinders packaging? It looks good :)
