Retro Spellbinders!

Hello friends
A week or so ago I featured a discontinued Spellbinders die (Seed Packet)
and I'm pleased to announce I've managed to secure a small quantity
of another design....Charms and Rod
I've had a little play with these... 4 die templates in each set.
This is how they look cut/embossed with bronze craft foil - available here.
I've used them to make a very simple card. The scallop die is Classic Edges One,
the little flowers and leaves from Homespun, paper is Bo Bunny - Country Garden.
Close up of the little charms, I like that they cut out the aperture so they could easily
be frames.
I think a very versatile die set.
I've only been able to secure half a dozen of these and I think they will
prove popular so don't delay if you need this die today! :)
Click here for all the details.

Other news... it felt very Spring like at the shop yesterday, my little basket of flowers
even made it outside! So nice not to have torrential rain running down the High Street!
Take care friends, I'm in my little shop again today working on FDD!
Oh yes..Mrs B - can I borrow your daughter please?
How wonderful to come home to a cooked dinner and lots of
meals prepared :)

Morning Christine, These die-cuts really do look like little frames, especially cut out of the foil, they are stunning, and the textures are gorgeous.
So great that your basket of flowers got to see the outside world, have a lovely day today.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Christine
Love these but I'm not really into putting charm like things as such on my cards. But I know that lots of people do. Mrs B how lucky are you to have a daughter who likes cooking and did such a lovely thing for you.

Hi Christine
I always think your shop looks lovely and the flowers look great.

Regarding the Retro Spellbinders maybe a little revival of them in the UK market might be a good idea? as new crafters join the fold all the time and may never have seen them before. It's a shame there is only a limited quantity as they seem quite popular. I think it's a super price also.
Your card is absolutely gorgeous.

Morning Christine,
I think these dies would be great for altered art projects, not that I do any myself. Love your card would be great for a man.
Gravesend High Street has such lovely building and your little shop looks lovely with the flowers outside. My husband did loads of pots this year with spring bulbs they are all coming into bloom and lots so pretty.
Have a good day in the shop.

Hi Christine. The Charms and Rod dies look beautiful made out of the craft foil. I am not good at "seeing" what they would look like in different finishes so thank you for showing us : ) Isn't it lovely being able to show off your flowers, open all the windows wide and see the washing flapping on the line. Sadly today it is rather grey and threatening to rain here in my part of Oxfordshire:( My daughter was tickled pink that you want to borrow her. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful thoughtful girl. I am not a fan of cooking the everyday meals but my husband and our two boys also love cooking so I don't usually have to worry. Even though the eldest has left home he still sometimes cooks a meal when he comes over. Umm...maybe I could start a buisness renting them all out! : ) Take care.

Morning Christine

These are so pretty... I do have a die that looks similar to the rod but not the charms. I have a couple of the original spellbinder dies complete with the foam in a cd case, mind they cost almost 3 times as much as today!!!!
Lovely to see the sunshine lately would be wonderful if it lasts until October

The Charms and Rod look so much nicer when cut and embossed than the actual dies suggest and make a beautiful card. The charms would enhance any little photo inside. Your shop looks very inviting. Have a lovely day.

I've not seen those dies before! I thought I'd seen all of Spellies dies.
Our weather has changed today, it's windy, colder than last week, and we keep having showers go through. Hey Ho, last week was nice, so I'll have to keep remembering that until we get some nice weather again.

PS, what's LDD?

Love your card today Christine, Never seen these dies before ether!
Spring really is in the air, and the flowers outside your shop look pretty. Great to see your A-board there too, that should catch the eye of the passers by and will certainly tell them what you're all about!
