Flowers and a Puzzle!

Hello friends
I've been making flowers - lots and lots of flowers.
The papers are fairly old - Cosmo Cricket - Togetherness but I love the colouring.
You can also just see some Classic Scallop Edgeabilities® too.
And what have I been doing with these flowers??
Attaching them to something.....
Meet Barbara!  This is my wire mannequin that I am going to place in the shop window adorned
with flowers and a very important butterfly - Wonderful Wings.
Why is she named Barbara? Well, that was Mitchell - he announced she should be named
and immediately decided upon Barbara.
This has been a project that I've been able to do while at home with Elliott.
Today we are back at King's to hopefully start his growth hormone injections,
I am being trained to administer these - let's hope I'm a quick learner!

Now to a puzzle...do you know what this is??
Truth is...I don't know but I bought it!
It was the bargain price of £2 and I instantly thought of ways I wanted to use the
outer frame.  Those four uprights (one is missing I think) are made of metal and wood.
I'm really hoping someone will instantly know what it is because it is driving us
all a little bit mad here - we've had suggestions from shoe rack, towel shelves and more.

I will be back soon to announce the winner of Friday's giveaway.
Take care friends.

Morning Christine, Wow, loving Barbara, and her adornments are absolutely gorgeous. She will look gorgeous in your shop window.
I think your puzzle is very interesting, if you turned it upside down and put in some glass you would have a little table.
Good Luck today, special hugs being sent to you all.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Christine, good luck to you and Elliott at Kings today.

Think Barbara looks great, oh to have a figure like that.!!!!

I think when hung on the wall a towel holder looks the most likely.

Take care....Mary x

Hi, Christine! Hope all goes well at King's today!
Barbara's looking fabulous in her floral adornment!
I think your puzzle looks like one of those towel rails that you roll your towels up and place between the bars, but at the end of the day, it can be whatever you want it to be and at £2 I'd have snatched it up too! Hugs, Lisa x

Hi Christine
Barbara looks really lovely, a super piece to put in your window. The colours are gorgeous.
Hope all goes well for Elliott today, and for you giving the injections, I am sure you will pick up how to do it very quickly.
As for the puzzle, I also think towels on it would look good, but I am sure you will find something crafty to do with it.
Good luck at the hospital

Morning Christine

I love Barbara bet she looks fabulous in your window. Not sure what your mystery item is, thought at first it was a wine rack but its not the right shape. You could hang your ribbons over the rails

Hope Elliot's hospital appointment goes well and you are able to give the injections.

Good luck to Elliott today and you for learning to inject him, not an easy task. Barbara looks amazing. I bought a bird cage to do something similar but not got round to it yet. No idea about the rack, no doubt someone will know exactly what it is.

Barbara and the flowers are gorgeous, as to the puzzle, im sure it goes the other way up, looking at the shape of the carving, however I don't know what it is for, I would have said towels too. Whatever it is im sure you will put it to good use. Hope the hospital app goes well. Emma

Barbara looks terrific Christine! What a buy for your window, love how you've decorated her.
Not sure either about your bargain buy, esp as it has no back, but I know it will look lovely decorated with some craftiness!
Hope Elliot got on ok at the hospital today and your training went well.

Hi Christine. Firstly, hope all has gone well with Elliott's hospital appointment.
My kit arrived today and I am looking forward to working with it, just need to finish decorating two birthday cakes for my grandsons' joint party on Saturday.
Barbara looks rather swish, the ideal form for all your gorgeous embellishments. Anne x

Not sure what the mystery object is but I guess a towel store is possible as is a cd/book rack maybe!

I Love Barbara..stunning! Hoping all went well at Kings today for you both XX As for your mystery buy, it looks too decorative to be a towel rail to me...I think there might be something missing and its a holder/rack for something, some sort of storage anyway! Hugs Carole Z X

I hope that the hospital appointment went well. Barbara is looking good in all her finery and will be much admired in the shop window, I'm sure.
I think that your mystery object could either be a towel storage rack or I wondered if it might be a rack to hold rolled up morning newspapers (maybe from a hotel or B&B)?

CardsofJoy said...

Do hope all went well at Kings today.
The mystery object - well perhaps you could hang jewellery on it?
Like another bloggers post about hanging ribbons on too.
I want your dress form!! it's adorable, loving the flowers you & Elliott have done
