Hello friends,
Today I'm sharing a sympathy card, not always the easiest cards to make,
I did receive some sad news while away that a friend's husband had passed away,
it was a long illness and expected but still so very sad.
I decided to use a Grand Labels Four for the outer card, scored and folded into the centre,
Rose Creations placed in the centre and Fancy Tags One has been stamped with the sentiment.
I printed the heartfelt poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye onto blue cardstock and cut and embossed
with Labels Four, this can be removed and you can write onto the back.
On a brighter note I think I'm finally unpacked!
The ironing pile has increased ten fold and I'm back at work but
looking forward to a very crafty weekend.
And, I have a few more photos to share with you from my time away.
How huge is this restaurant!!
This is me (looking extremely tired!) with my table buddy Iwona
There is still time to enter my Mystery Giveaway blog post -
Bella will pick out a winner and it will be announced on Sunday.
Back tomorrow my blogland friends.

Good morning Christine, the card is beautiful and I am sure would be appreciated. You may have felt tired but you certainly didn't look it on the photos. Hope the ironing isn't too much of a chore when you get around to it.

I'm sure your friend will appreciate this beautiful card at such a sad time, it will lift her spirits. The card stock is just lovely and you are so clever in putting together the shape and colours, so appropriate. I notice, the ever popular butterfly makes it's appearance again! Alison :)

Hi Christine
what a beautiful card, at such a sad time. I know this card will show the recipient that you were showing you care at such an awful time. A purchased card at such a time is nice, BUT a hand made card is so much nicer & shows that you have taken the time to make a card for them. Love the photos, looks like you had a great time. I may be A.W.O.L. for a few days as I am staying in the forest so may have no signal.
hugs
