Trio of Boxes

Hello friends
I dedicate today's post to Amanda (aka Baconbits) ...
congratulations on your news yesterday that you are to become a Grandma!
How wonderful.

Also a shout to Sandra (Cotswold Crafter) regarding Grand Decorative Ovals -
I have these in the shop so please drop me an email.

Yesterday was lovely - my boys treated me to some special gifts...
bit of a theme going on here..chocolate and Game of Thrones!
I had mentioned I would like the Games of Thrones DVD box set but they also remembered how
partial I am to Cadbury chocolate...remember they are boys...
they don't really go for pretty and feminine!
Keeping with the Mum theme - a trio of boxes today.
I have to point something out straight away - you might notice with the
top box that it slants down very slightly ...confession time!
I forgot to take my camera to the studio so had to put it my bag to bring home to photograph.
It must have got slightly squashed!  I didn't actually notice until I uploaded all the photos.
Anyway I'm hoping it doesn't detract too much from the finished project and
gives you a little inspiration for a gift.
I've stacked three boxes - Square Petal Top Box and secured a wide satin ribbon around them all.
You can fit 4 chocolate truffles in each box - I did the same with yesterday's gift box...
thankfully there was some truffles left over!
For the top decoration I've used Jewel Flowers and Flourishes and Jewel Framed Sentiments.
The lettering is from Jewel Alphabet.
I created this for Julianna's Positively Me Blog so if you have a moment to zip over there and leave a
comment I would be so pleased.
A close up of the flowers - I adore the little leaves.
Other news:
The butterfly box frame class due to take place later this month has sold out!
I'm thrilled I'm not the only one that is butterfly mad!
I've decided to run this class again on Sunday 5 May - all the details can be found on my sidebar - Spellbinders Academy button.
Just a very slight change with this class - the papers are still Teresa Collins - Fabrications Canvas
but they will be a 12 x 12 collection pack as opposed to a 8 x 8 paper pad.
Feel free to email for further details and if you would like to book a place.

Wishing you all a wonderful start to the week.
Take care.

Morning Christine, The boxes are lovely, I love the flowers I have these dies. Question: Christine are the boxes made from a Spellbinders Die?
Your boys were very thoughtful with their gifts "ENJOY".
Have a lovely day.

Happy crafting

Hi Christine,
The boxes are lovely, I must add this flower die to my collection. I had some of the new spellbinder dies for Mothers Day, I was thrilled. Some more that I can knock off my long, long list. It's snowing here again here in Norfolk so I can play with my new dies.
Love Chris X
