Hat Box

Hello friends
Such wonderful comments yesterday - thank you so much for your support.
Today's project is a little hat box card.  I made this some time ago and now I
cannot recall whether I have shared it with you (old age memory...!)
For the card base, hat brim and flower I used Lacey Circles,
Foliage for the leaves and a hand cut banner for the stamped sentiment.
A side view.
The little stand is made of brass and I sell these in the shop.
So, any warmer where you are??
Here it is bitterly cold again - I'm sure we have slipped into the frozen world of Narnia,
I keep expecting the White Witch to appear!
Take care friends - I will be back tomorrow.

Morning Christine. A lovely box. According to the forecast is going to be a balmy 2C today! I'm really fed up with the cold. Still on the brighter side no more work til the middle of April, and hope fully will come home with a load of crafting goodies. Will try and keep up with your blog whilst I am away but will be something to look forward to if I can't. Have a lovely and chocolatey Easter. Ju

Gorgeous idea Christine, perfect too as a small gift box.

We have sunshine here this morning with a very sharp frost so ever hopeful it will be a nice day today.

Hi Christine

Love the card/box you've created and the colours you've used.
The sun is shining and it's very cold and frosty here in Derbyshire this morning but as the saying goes "things can only get better".
My new dies arrived yesterday can't wait to start using them, thank you Christine for the speedy delivery
Take care
Barbara

Hi Christine. So love todays hat box - very Eastery (if that's a word)

My son keeps posting his weather conditions in North Wales and although the snow looked very pretty as first enough is enough now it's turned to ice.

Hi Christine,
What a pretty box, I must have a go at doing one myself, they're such useful gifts.
Bitterly cold here but thank God, no snow like yesterday.
Might go to the Zoo before the world and his dog get there over Easter and school break. The thing that puts me off is that it's always a couple of degrees colder there than my house which is only a few miles away..
Keep warm and crafting.

This is lovely Christine, I love the patterned papers that you've used. I don't remember it at all.
It is just lovely!!!

Very cold here in Nottingham, and we still have snow around, but there was loads of sunshine around so that was really cheery!

Hugs to you (and a virtual hug for Bella)

A very cute and unusual hat card Christine, Love the papers you have used.
Although dry,it has been a lot colder today, sun appeared briefly late afternoon. Took Mum and Aunt out for lunch, was suprised to find the wild Daffodils were beginning to emerge in the hedgerow (Kemply, Nr Ledbury, Herefordshire)
