Home and Gorgeous Dogs!

Hello friends
So pleased you liked the French theme plaque yesterday -
the papers I used were Glitz - French Kiss and a full tutorial is here.

It is another New Home card today..I don't actually know anyone moving home right now but
this design could be adapted to many occasions.
You will see I had a bit of a theme going on using Classic Scallop Edgeabilities®!
A simply constructed card with panels of paper but I really think that Classic Hearts makes the card.
Still loving that gingham paper.
Now, how about some cuteness today?
I still have a few adorable pets to feature in Pet Gallery (I get round to these things eventually!)
May I introduce you to Henry.
He is a French Bulldog pup and his grandma is Elizabeth - a regular blog follower.
Elizabeth also sent me some pictures of her Boxer dog Charlie.
Sadly Charlie has passed away but with Elizabeth's permission I thought it would be
wonderful to share these beautiful photos as a remembrance.
Charlie in the snow, a somewhat confused look I think...
Here is Charlie sharing a comfy seat with Alfie (a Brindle Boxer).

And this final photo is Charlie snuggled up with a fluffy toy - absolutely adorable.
Elizabeth tells me that Charlie was quite a celebrity, always looking out of the window greeting passers by.
In fact children would knock and ask if Charlie could come out and play!

I came across this quote recently and I feel it is appropriate today....
"A good dog never dies. He always stays. He walks besides you on crisp autumn days when frost is on the fields and winter's drawing near. His head is within our hand in his old way."

Thank you Elizabeth for sharing such wonderful photos.

Some info/news today - you may have seen a new button
on my sidebar.....
in the true nature of life just as you get used to something...they change it!
The way to follow blogs is changing - if any of you follow blogs using Google Reader
I'm afraid Google Reader is coming to an end soon.
It is possible to keep following my blog using a new reader and it is bloglovin' -
it is free and you can import all your favourite blogs with the click of a button - all the details
are here.

Also..final piece of news:
I was asked if I stock the little brass stands I featured with yesterday's plaque.
Yes I do!  These measure 10cm tall, 6.5cm wide and 5cm deep - perfect for displaying a
special card or home decor piece.
They are £7.95 inclusive of postage and packaging.
As usual - please email if you would like to order.

Take care friends - enjoy your day.

Morning Christine, I'm typing this through a haze of tears, loved the piccies of doggies and the story, but the verse made me cry, I lost one of my cats recently and it is still so raw, and the verse was so beautiful but oh so emotional.
Your card is gorgeous, pretty and fresh colours, I too love the gingham.
Thank you for telling us the papers from your gorgeous project yesterday.
I will be popping over now to look at the Bloglovin, to see what I need to do, hope it isn't complicated ha ha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Morning Christine, thank you so much for featuring Charlie and my daughter's two doggies in your pet gallery today. Your words were beautiful and like Patricia said, oh so emotional. I am sure they will give everyone out there who have lost their special pets comfort.
Thank you everyone too for your kind words about my beautiful Charlie, it means a lot. She was a special girl and I still miss her so much. Sending my love to all of you who have loved and lost.
Have a lovely day.

Hi Christine a lovely card as usual .
They quote about dogs is beautiful and very true, we had our dog Gemma for 14 years , they then become family members, I don't think we are ever prepared four the pain of their passing!
On a brighter note...,,,,,. It's Friday die day tomorrow! Yay
Hope everyone is warm and cosy,
Hugs
