Frame...another one?!

Hello friends
You are all so wonderful - thank you for your brilliant comments yesterday,
it makes everything so worthwhile.
I have another frame to share with you today... I seem to have a run on frames at the moment!
I created this one for Spellbinders and was thrilled to see it on display in Birmingham last month.
It was quite funny as it had been loaned to a company who sell Spellbinders,
I went over to look and the lady on the stand asked if I liked it...?
I  said "It's quite nice!"  But then went on to explain it was my project.
It features the very lovely Jewel Flowers and Flourishes,
Fantastic Flourish One - Die D-Lites and a bezel filled with ICE Resin®.
In fact, I'm hoping you can see from the photo that the flowers and picture look a little different -
this is because I coated old book pages with ICE Resin and then die cut them.
It was really simple to do and the effect was brilliant.
I'm not a messy crafter but I cope with ICE Resin, it comes in a perfect syringe system -
I promise to do a tutorial on this soon so if any of you are thinking of buying items from the
Media Mixage line you will know what to do.
Although remember...the metal bezels can be filled with all sorts of items - not just resin.

I'm back tomorrow and I think I should set that Bella to work ...she needs to pick out a winner!
Take care friends.

How exciting to see one of your own projects "in the flesh"! It's lovely. I hope the lady was suitably impressed that she had met the creator. Haven't decided about the media mixage - mayb I need to see it in real life first. Looks like I'll have to go to more craft shows, what a shame! Ju

Hi Christine,
How cool to see your project on display, what a coincidence. Me too, I'd like to see the mixed media demo'ed to find out a bit more about it before adding it to my enormous wish list.

Morning Christine, love the frame today. I do not know much about mixed meda so would be interested to see a tutorial. I, like you, am not a messy crafter so would be good to see what it involved.
It is a very foggy and frosty morning here but they say there will be sunshine later...lets hope so.
Have a lovely day.

Pretty frame Christine, though a tad dark for me. I never got around to getting those Jewel dies, but I have t he new Delicate Asters on order, so they would work similarly, I think.

Morning Christine,
A lovely frame, I bet her face was a picture when you told her it was yours. The ice resin sounds intriguing, though like you I'm not a messy crafter, however, I'm giving the shaving foam a go today after watching Sue Wilson Yesterday.
Have a good day.

Hi Christine. What a lovely project today. It must be such a thrill saying "Oh I did that"

Don't know much about mixed media so would love to see what it's all about.

What has happened to the weather here? It's foggy today!!

Hi Christine
I love the decorated frame. My own “crafty life” started around 25 years ago when I found the art of decoupage. I would make very large “3D pictures” from Anton Pieck prints then box frame them. I have many in my collection. The print in your frame reminds me of an Anton Pieck. I’m now looking at my own artwork and deciding what I can do to change the frames. I love the flourish you’ve used, could you let me know which die this is, I need this die !!! Looking forward to the Ice Resin tutorial.

Morning Christine, lovely vintage frame, great home decor pieces, its is weird when you see your work on display for someone else, i went into a reception once and they had one of my paintings on the wall, i was listening to others discussing how lovely it was, a very weird moment. Emma

Lovely Frame Christine, Is the centre picture inset into the frame? I can't quite tell from the photo. Have looked at prices for the bezels- not cheap- but do look good on cards.... maybe will invest soon. Janice xx

Oh how funny Christine, maybe you should have said you didn't like it much but you know the lady who designed it and you like her! I think it's fab and love the way it's not just cards you share with us but a little bit of everything. Thank you.

Beautiful frame Christine. I like you are not a messy crafter, cant get into the watercoloring, curling then drying the paper, not my cup of tea. The ice resin is intriguing on paper. Look forward to your demo.

How chuffed you must of felt seeing that project on the stand at the show. Just goes to show how Spellbinders and crafters enjoy your style and talent Christine.
I've not thought of dabbling in mixed media, but I guess I might just try if you show me the way!
Lovely sunny day here, been in the garden most of the morning,oh by the way, a load of washing was put out too!! Crafty best wishes, Carolyn x
