The Big Move!

Hello friends
This weekend is officially the 'big move'!
This is the beginnings of the items being moved into my new craft room,
I intended to take a lot more photos but I always seemed to have boxes and baskets in my hands!
Today my sister and her family are joining in the 'big move' so I will definitely take more photos.
Not that long ago this was my crafting space....
my conservatory and what a muddle!  That's Darcy cat by the way :)
I thought it appropriate to show a photo with the snow outside as it is threatening
snow here right now!  I love snow but please please make it possible for people to
still come along to my very first class in the new studio!

As regards projects...I have so many to share that are awaiting the official green light -
just a little bit longer .....
To bridge the gap how about something I created a while back using Spiral Blossoms Two, Foliage,
Labels Twenty and some matching Nestabling.
I do love a decorated jar!
Take care friends, enjoy your weekend.

Morning Christine, Good luck moving in to your new studio, hope the weather holds out for you, here in Newark it's cold but no snow as yet! I'm going to have to master these flowers, got the dies but they never look like yours when i've finished. lynn xx

Hi Christine. Who would think you could make a simple jar so amazing.

Hope everything goes well with the move today, so looking forward to photos when it's finished.

Love the snowy scene. I'm back in North Wales to visit my son at the end of the month - I bet the snow is waiting for me to arrive.

Ooooh how exciting. Hope the move goes well. Hoping to come to one of your classes soon, and am very jealous of those who will be attending next weekend. Love the jar topper may have to try that for the two birthdays I've got coming up this month - mum and mum in law. Or maybe for Mother's Day. Decisions decisions. Hope you get time to squeeze in a little crafting today, I am hoping to amongst all my chores. No snow yet but blooming cold. Ju

Hi CHristine,
Hope the snow holds off so you can do the big move.
Love that your craft room used to be a conservatory - just think from a tiny space such big ideas happen.
On your craft desk (in the conservatory) there is a disc which you seem to be hanging your stamps from - such a good idea could you share what the item is and if possible where it comes from.
Enjoy the day - hot chocolate and doughnuts will make it go better.
I love the jar label very pretty.

Morning Christine,
How exciting for you, expect you were up at the crack of dawn, hope the snow and rain stays away, nothing worse than moving in the wet. Bet there plenty of cake in the offing.
Love the topper on your jar so pretty, turning a very plain object into something so nice.
Good luck.

Have not been commenting for some time, had real problems with internet access. So, today I will be looking at all the posts I have missed. Love the look of you new shop, the wall paper is so 'you'. Enjoy the move, and I hope your first class in the new venue is a great success, you deserve it. Best wishes, Anne

Hi Christine

Love how you've transformed the jar, it's so pretty and such a good idea. A definite one to be tried for a present.

You'll never guess what you got me to do yesterday.....I took a look in Claire's Accessories in town, to see if I could find any jewellery to take apart for crafting! No luck I'm afraid, but will keep popping in there lol!

Good luck for this weekend to you and all our helpers on your move. I too can't wait to see the photos. You certainly had a very packed conservatory, will it be nice for you to have more space now.

Hi Christine, Your new craft room is looking good already with the new paper up. Good luck with the 'move in'.
Your decorated jar is beautiful, lovely paper.
Your conservatory 'craft room' looks akin to my craft room, although I think mine is much more of a 'mess' with stuff everywhere, but it is 'organised mess' well most of it is anyway ha ha.
I hope everything goes well, you seem to have lots of help over the weekend, hope it isn't too stressful.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Wow! Saw your post on Craft Storage. That wallpaper is genius! It made me smile. I'm usually not a big fan of wallpaper. But that one works for a craftroom. In my craftroom, I use daylight bulbs in every light. Home Depot has great prices for these pricey bulbs. So I get so much bright light. That even crafting late at night is no problem. Keep going. I can't wait to see the final reveal!!!!
