Still sorting!

Hello friends
It's a studio/shop photo day!
I continued to organise yesterday and took delivery of a display stand....this is going to be for dies.
I got rather over excited with this purchase...perhaps because it feels more like a 'real' shop!
In my mind I'm still a little girl 'playing shops'!
I unpacked my Scrapbook Adhesives stock, set up the till -
(the instruction booklet for the till is going to take some reading!)
I spy.... an empty jar by the till - that needs to be filled with sweets....
My youngest son suspected there was a lack of butterflies and bought me some!
One took flight and landed on the till....
I will be knuckling down to some craft soon!
In the meantime....Spellbinders have launched their Winter and Media Mixage books/catalogues
and you can download some of them for free.  I have a couple of projects featured including this one
featuring Spectacular Spin.
Take care friends.
I'm back tomorrow.

Morning Christine

Well, the shop is looking good, you must be feeling very proud! I too loved playing shops as a youngster, and have to confess I still do with my two great nieces who are three and four years old :-))

Your card is gorgeous too. So have more fun today as you continue with your studio.

Hi Christine - I've been tidying up my room in order to have my wardrobe altered into a full-length cupboard for my stash - yay!!! I have looked at your blog but not had the time to comment, so I just wanted to say how lovely your shop/studio is looking. I love that paper and it made me think of MME papers! I also wanted to say that your projects have all been really lovely and I have been amazed at every one. Can't wait to see Bella in the new Studio with you!!!

Big hugs - I just love your style!

The oрening photo in Half, Julia Kozerski's series of naked self-portraits, is actually the bookend to asequence of earlier photos. In those, she appeared unhappily in her wedding dress in achanging room cubicle, more than 300lb 21 stone and mortified. Here, she appears in the dress again, standing sideways on to the camera, to show how much of the dress is unoccupied. Over the course of a year, Kozerski lost half her body weight, and you might expect the resulting photos to conform to the glib narrative of before and after. Instead, the 28-year-old took pains to show "what real is, what raw is" in this case stretchmarks, skin folds, contours like sand dunes. Raw is Kozerski naked, and frequently crying.
