Mum's Card

Hello friends

Did you have a nice weekend?
For all those celebrating Mother's Day I hope it was extra special.
I did an afternoon tea for my Mum and the rest of the family,
we indulged in sarnies, scones and lots (and lots!) of cake.

For my Mum's card I used Floral Bouquet,
one of the dies I was demoing last week on Hochanda.
I chose to pastel colour the die cut with the Colour Cloud blending inks
and place a silver mirror card die cut behind to shadow.

I typed and printed the sentiment onto the white card front and the mats are
coloured using the matching blending inks.
Fab way to coorindate.

Floral Bouquet is available on the website here
along with the majority of the other Folk Art dies in stock here.

Today I have the excitement of taking my car for its MOT
and then I will be back in my crafty cabin getting more projects created
as I'm back doing shows next month.
I'm also planning next month's charity kit - always happy to hear requests
for these - do you prefer cards or fancy something different?

Talking of charity kits, I know some of you haven't received this month's kit yet,
they have all gone out as soon as you ordered but after checking with Royal Mail
it appears they are dealing with a backlog from the snowy weather.
I am sorry, normally you have them within a few days but they should
be with you very soon.

Take care friends, have a great start to the week.

Hi Christine
Your Mum's card is lovely, these dies have grown on me. You asked for suggestions for the next Charity Kit, I really loved the last demo on your last show with the decorated paper bag, that would be really nice, but equally a card using the new dies would be great too.
Hope your car passes its MOT
Take care xx

Hi Christine
I saw your Mum's card on T.V. it looked very delicate using the pastel colours.
I like boxes or a project for the Charity Kit.They are something different as I'm always making cards.
