Big Thanks and Rosemal Heart

Hello friends

I'm home from my jaunt to Peterborough.
I had a truly wonderful time at Hochanda, they are all very kind
and welcoming.  The studio is very nice and situated near the
picturesque town of Oundle.  I didn't have much time for sightseeting
but I'm going back next month so fingers crossed I can nip out
between shows.

Big thanks to those who have commented on my shows
both here on my blog and on social media -
I really appreciate you doing that.
I haven't been on the telly for about a year so I felt it took
me a little bit of time to get back into the swing of it.
But once I started chatting I don't think I really stopped!

Today's project is one of the dies featured on the show -
I've purely used distress inks with this design (no mirror card!)
I realised I used mirror card in a lot in my demos but it is a nice
touch with these dies.

So instead of the mirror card I opted for a bright pink card mat to
match the heart.

And...as mentioned on the shows(!) a great design for weddings and
anniversaries.

Rosemal Heart is available on the website here
and Lene Lok's designs including the Folk Art collection can also be viewed here.

I'm back to it today, in my cabin organising orders, unpacking and creating.
Oh yes...I must mention if you have orders outstanding from the snowy time
they are on their way.  Despite getting them to the post office they
are taking longer than normal, Royal Mail have explained there is a backlog
and of course there are still a lot of places with snow.
Apologies it is taking longer but all should be back to normal soon.

Take care friends and to all you Mums' out there make sure you put
your feet up tomorrow.

Hi Christine
Great shows, I managed to catch your last show after work yesterday and I must say that I really liked the paper bag demo. These dies have grown on me now, I wasn't particularly keen on them at first, it just shows what a great inspiration you are. Nice nails too.
Would love to know what you are demonstrating on your shows next month.
Enjoy Mothers Day tomorrow, I hope those boys spoil you.

A lovely card and it was great to see you back on tv I really like this Nordic collection
I loved the background you created the other day and a great tip to “flatten” it
Brilliant idea to stick tan mat to embossing plate too - which I heard you say on tv
