Sunday Giveaway!

Hello friends

Really??? 1 March already?!

Yesterday I was at the Make It Show in Farnborough, I packed my bags....
and set off.  The M25 was kind to me - thank you traffic fairies!
I've never been to this show before so I wasn't prepared that it is on an
airfield and the arena is huge - I mean massive!!
It was busy but I think I managed to keep up chatting to everyone,
with demonstrating Spellbinders in between!
It was wonderful to meet up with blog follower friends so special thanks
to those that come to say hello.
I returned home mid evening, dinner and Bella cuddles.
All in all a great day.

Back to today it's a giveaway!
One of the dies I was demonstrating yesterday was Diagonal Chevron.
You may recall it from this card that I made.
It proved really popular and it was pointed out many times that it would
also be useful to create male cards.
So, if you would like to win this die, easy peasy - just make sure you are a follower
and leave a comment on today's blog post, a winner will be selected next week.

Wishing you a lovely Sunday.  Take care friends.

Morning Christine, up early as my daughter goes off to work and I wave her off. Always check your blog every day. Love the chevron design on your card - lovely and fresh. A bit windy here today. Have a lovely weekend. Jane xx

Good morning Christine
Glad to hear you had a great day yesterday. It is always fun to get out and about meeting fellow crafty people at shows and I'm sure it must be even more fun demoing although hard work.
I love this chevron card especially the way you have put some of the chevrons back into the die cut. Thank you for the chance to win this die.
My New Grand Calibur arrived yesterday so I am up early to spend some time in my craft room. Thank you again for the amazing service and for the regular messages about my parcels progress.
Have a restful day.

Hi Christine
It was lovely to meat you in person yesterday at Farnborough.
I like the paper piecing on your card, and agree it could easily become a male card.
Take care Pat x

Morning Christine, the show yesterday looks a lot like the one we have here in Newark, it's held on our showground( which used to be part of an airfield) very big spaces, and on a day like today very breezy!. Looking out of the windy it's a perfect spring day, sunny, blue sky, but very very windy......what is it they say? March comes in like a lion out like a lamb? Does that mean we'll get good weather later in the month? Have a good Sunday Lynn xx

Good morning Christine
Good to hear you had a great day yesterday, Farnborough is certainly a big show! Hope it wasn't too windy there as that usually makes the marquee rattle a bit! One year I remember they closed the show because of it.
Thank you for the chance of winning this lovely die.
Enjoy your Sunday.

Looks like a great show, I envy everyone who lives closer to these places. Not even a craft shop near me, which is why I need your blog.
It does look a great die, and one which will look different depending on the background.

Lovely sunny day here, but feeling a bit sorry for myself today!! Horrible cold and a swollen knee ( not sure what the link is ha ha). Glad you had a good day, I agree this die would be good for a mans card I always struggle with ideas for men!!! Home alone today as hubby and daughter are of to Wembly so it's just me the dogs cat rabbit and some crafting. Enjoy your Sunday xx

Oh, wow, what a great venue, I wish I could get to a show like that. The only one we have in the country which is anything like that is in Belfast. (the other side of the country, but I do make the effort to go).

Love your card, it looks as if it would be a very versatile die.

Hi Christine
Happy St. David's Day! I'm glad you had such a great time at the show, I just wish that we had them down here in Cornwall. It seems all the companies that arrange these wonderful shows seem to think that the country stops at the Tamar Bridge...nothing ever seems to get to the craft wilderness that is Cornwall. I think though that it's the only reason I don't like living here in the south west :).
I love this die and actually have it on my ever growing wish list and I love the card you made with it, especially using some of the waste at the bottom to give some depth. x

Like this card. Somehow I missed you demonstrating yesterday. Met Sandra and Sue and they said they had seen you but you were not demonstrating when I looked. Glad the traffic was good to you. The M25 can be a pain at times. Have seen this die before but had forgotten about it.

Hi Christine,
Just want to say what an absolute pleasure it was to finally meet you yesterday! The show was very good and very well organised.
You will be pleased to hear that Paul found an Alan Key (why are they named after Alan)? And took my guillotine apart, removed a piece of jammed paper, tightened it back up and..".........................it cuts perfectly, so he would like to thank you for saving him £30 or more, I would like to thank you as I can now cut perfectly straight card and paper!
I would also like to thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on my blog, what a kind thought!
I look forward to meeting you again very soon!
Love & hugs
