My Mum's Day Card

Hello friends

I can share with you today the card I made for my very special Mum
and I'm pleased to report she loved it!
It features the new Marisa's Bouquet dies.

I took inspiration from the die packaging that features a beautiful card
using an assortment of the flowers.
Little flecks of ink enhance the background...more ink was on my craft desk than on the card!
And of course you have to love those butterflies.

All the flowers are created from my card scraps so that's handy.
Marisa's Bouquet is available on the website here.

I was treated very well on Mother's Day, I received beautiful flowers and cards...
and then this bounty of goodies!
I think my boys know me well!

Take care friends.

Hi Christine,
Love your Mother's Day card it is really pretty.
Your boys really did do well,I think a lot of dog walking will have to be done after all that chocolate but I am sure Bella will not mind that.
I hope you have a good day. Take care. x.

Hi Christine,
Your mum's card is gorgeous Christine, that little spritz of blue ink makes such a difference to the otherwise plain white background, I am not sure if I would be brave enlightening to give it a go. Although I don't know why as at the end of the day it's just a piece of card, I think it's sometimes easy to get caught up in worrying if we would do something 'right', so today I am going to find myself a box to turn into a 'spray booth' and go for it!
Watch this space to two speckled kittens later on as they always have to be involved!
Christine, your gift collection was very similar to mine, which also involved copious amounts of chocolate, 2 huge boxes of liquorice allsorts, Cadbury cream eggs, 2 big Bars of Bournville, do you remember when that was the only dark chocolate you could get, I love it and had forgotten how much too, as the Lindt range had taken over, I did get two bars of that too though!
Christine every time I See a Dairy Milky Button Easter Egg I always think of you!
Love and hugs

Lovely Mother's Day card - pretty colours and could easily be Happy Birthday too! Your ink speckling is extremely controlled: I never know when to stop! Hope you'll be good and save the choccy eggs for Easter.
