It's Christmas!

Hello friends
Well perhaps it isn't quite Christmas but it will be here before you know it!
As mentioned, I created 10 projects for Make Christmas Cards
and today I thought I would share another one with you.

All the projects use the free papers and toppers that come with the magazine.
A little tip - I adhere the papers to some cardstock, it makes them just a little
thicker and easier to die cut.
This card is a very simple design but I always think that's good
if you have to make many Christmas cards.
The dies are Layered Poinsettia and Create A Flake Four.
Layered Poinsettia is a huge favourite of mine and I promise to have it
back in stock soon.
Other news - THANK YOU for loving the Charity Add-On Kit for
the Recipe Organiser/Notebook.  If you have ordered
they should be with you very soon.
I've already been thinking about next month's Add-On Kit...
The main kit for the Recipe Organiser/Notebook is still available,
I am awaiting some more chipboard covers but they are on their way.
Any questions - please get in touch.
Also....if you have made your kit I would love to see photos please :)

We now have Elliott's radiotherapy dates, he will start at the beginning
of next month and finish mid-November.  It is going to be gruelling for him
but we are planning nice treats along the way.  It is also good that he will
not have all this happening at Christmas - big plans to make this Christmas very special.

Have a lovely weekend, keep dry - it hasn't stopped raining here!
Take care friends.

Glad Elliot has his dates. The sooner it starts, the sooner it will be over and you can look forward to a lovely Christmas.

I think I'd better pick up a copy of this magazine - Christmas is sneaking up and I still need to make over 100 cards, so some ideas for ultra quick but stylish cards like yours will be very welcome.

Hope the radiotherapy goes as well as possible for Elliot. I'm sure knowing the dates rather than wondering when it will be is a help. And I'm glad it will be finished well before Christmas.

Gives him a goal to aim for as Christmas is such a magical time to look forward to.

Today's card is gorgeous so crisp clean and elegant I love it and thank you for the tip of adhering the free papers to card stock going to give this one a try.

Morning Christine, another damp and miserable start to the day.

So glad you have got the dates for Elliotts radiotherapy, and that it will all be over in time for Christmas.

Loved the card today.

Last night was really wet when a few hundred of us walked along the seafront from Herne bay to Whitstable and back in aid of Pilgrims Hospice. Strange to say but an really enjoyable evening. Now have an excuse to take it easy today!!Maybe i'll start on the Christmas cards.

Take care, Mary x

Morning Christine, So glad that Elliott has his dates and that it will be over before Christmas, he will have that to look forward to, and lots of treats no doubt, he is a really lovely young man. My love and prayers go out to you all.
Your card today is very pretty, and the poinsettia is my 'go to' die too, it looks so different with every different paper used, but always looks gorgeous.
It is very, very damp here, I'm missing the sun already ha ha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Christine. What a lovely card, clean and simple, but gorgeous. I love using the poinsettia dies too. Now you have Elliots dates you can all plan for a great Christmas as something to look forward to. It's not raining here, at the moment, but has been for the last fewdays and more is forecast. Roll on Spring, it can't come round fast enough for me! Take care.

Morning Christine
Looking forward to receiving my kit. Lovely card today and really like how you've used the poinsettia die.
I too, am pleased the dates are through for Elliot. It gives you a little time to plan the treats along the way, and to look forward to Christmas afterwards.
Hope it's dry with you today, we've had some light rain here already.

Lovely card Christine. My add on kit arrived today. I am going to laminate my cards to keep them clean before I use them - otherwise they will get cake goo all over them.
Dreadful weather with fine rain that doesn't feel too heavy but you still get soaked. Sent my son out to walk Rolo today. I promised him a cooked breakfast on his return so he was more than happy to get wet. Keep positive. Janice xx

Hi Christine,
It's a lovely card and I need simple designs as I have to make quite a few.
At least Elliott will have finished the radiotherapy treatment before Christmas and I'm sure he will deal with this in his own positive way and with the support of his mum, brother and grandparents etc... PLUS not forgetting the treats.
My good wishes to you, Elliott.
Rose
