Butterfly Magic!

Hello friends
Butterflies are back!
This card was featured a while ago in Simply Cards and Papercraft Magazine,
This was the magazine that I put out an appeal for and
Mags kindly came to the rescue.  Thank you Mags.
Inside there was a whole feature on Spellbinders and I was thrilled
to be featured.

The dies I used are Floral Ovals and Les Papillions Two.
The background is created with Dainty Dots M-Bossabilities.
I recall making it with just one butterfly and then going back to
add an extra one because I couldn't resist!

Yesterday I attempted to do lots of typing and this happened...
and this...
So I packed up a little early and Bella, Elliott and I headed out for a lovely pub lunch.
Trying to make time for lots of treats while the sun is shining and before
Elliott starts college.  Mitchell was out in London all day with friends otherwise
he would have come along for sure...mere mention of food!

Today I'm typing up classes, working on projects and planning
the add-on kit for the Recipe Notebook.
As soon as all the kits have been collected from the shop Elliott will be
picking out the lucky number winner - Spellbinders!

Take care friends.

Morning Christine, Awww your piccies are gorgeous, Elliott with his beautiful smile and Bella sitting on your knee whilst you're trying to type, I remember it well when we had doggies, absolutely lovely.
Your card is really striking, and I'm loving the embossing folder dainty dots.
Ohhhhhhh, I can't wait for the next stage of the recipe kits.
Have a lovely day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Christine

Love today's card. I assume you used decorative paper to cut out the spellbinders, and for the butterflies. It looks so effective. I never seem to be able to find really nice decorative papers. If I like a few in a pack most of the others I don't.

Such a pretty card, the photos of Bella always remind me of my Yorkie, Rosie sadly no longer with us. I now have 2 Labradors but they just don't fit on my lap as well. Glad you enjoyed your pub lunch xx

Love this card - so pretty and any number of variations possible. Thanks for the inspiration. That looks like a fab place to have lunch - Elliott seems particularly chuffed! Shame Mitchell missed out.

Hello Christine, good to see that you had a bit of a relax yesterday when you had lunch with Elliott and the lovely Bella.
Lovely card today and I think I have these dies, so that's another one I can have a play with. Thank you for the inspiration.
My recipe kit came yesterday and i'm looking forward to making that as well. So much to do, not enough time. I like the thick card that you have used for the covers. A supply of this would be really useful for a lot of projects. Could you possibly let me know what it's called and where I might be able to get some please?
Looking forward to seeing details of your workshops. With everything else that is going on in your life, I don't know how you will have time for them.
Good luck to Elliott when he has his treatment this week.
Toni xx

Hi Christine,
well, Bella knew best - we should all seize opportunities as they arise. And what can be better than the opportunity to spend time with your family (Bella incl.)
I'm keeping fingers crossed for Elliott.
Best wishes, Rose
