Better Late than....

Hello friends
I've missed a few days, must admit we have spent a lot of time
at hospitals this week.  Bit more about that in a minute...

Let's have something crafty first! How about a tag?
This tag has just been featured on the Crafty Power Blog for
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L™  - all the details are here and yes,
I'm going to send out a special request that if you are able to leave a comment
on that blog I would be very grateful :)
The tag features the new Designer Shapes - 3D Foam Leaves -
I hope to have them in stock soon.  I've used embossing powder to give them
a copper lustre.
My favourite Bitty Blossoms team beautifully with the leaves.
And don't forget - Kraft Photo Corners need not just been used on photos!
Unfortunately hospital visits did not go well this week, sadly Elliott has developed
an anxiety when wearing the mask made for his radiotherapy, it is perfectly understandable -
the mask bolts his head down to the table so he feels very claustrophobic and trapped.
The hospital are urgently referring him to paediatric psychologists and we have
appointments for those already next week.

I'm going to be taking a little break from some of my design team work,
only a month or so to concentrate on Elliott and his radiotherapy treatment.
I will be blogging when I can and I still have projects to share with you.

Fund raising kits will continue as my lovely family are stepping in to help with those
and Mitchell will be picking up Amazon/website orders.
Talking of Mitchell - I haven't mentioned him recently!
He is doing really well at college, he loves his new course and... bit of a secret...
he has a new girlfriend so as you can imagine he's very happy and busy!

As you know, I value all your comments and emails so much - they keep me strong
and believe me there have been some seriously wobbly moments recently :)
Thank you again dear friends and have a lovely weekend.

Poor Elliott! Such a difficult thing to face for him and Mum too. I do hope that the hospital can help - I wish that there was something that I could do. You are all so brave!
Good news for Mitchell though - it's time for some happiness in the Emberson household at last.
You absolutely must not worry about Design Team work or the blog - we will still be here when you are ready again. Elliot must most definately come first and we will all be rooting for him. Hugs x

Hi Christine, WOW !! this tag is stunning, the leaves and bitty blossoms are absolutely gorgeous. I love it !!
I can fully empathise with Elliott and his anxiety, I would feel exactly the same, as I have claustrophobia, lets hope the psychologists can eradicate Elliott's anxiety to the mask, so he can continue with his treatments.
We are all sending you all very positive thoughts and you are in our prayers always.
So please that Mitchell is getting on well in College, and congratulations on your new girlfriend, keep happy.
Lots of love and huge hugs to you all, from Patricia xx

Oh dear poor Elliott. I have a friend who has had the same treatment and was in a terrible state but with some hypnotherapy apparently was able to go off to a different place when the mask was on. Perhaps Elliott can find his special place to make it more bearable. Will be thinking of you and whenever you can give us some news we're here to share it with you. All the best xxMargaretxx

And listen girl, you take all the time in the world off to be with Elliott and Mitchell in these very difficult times!
Lovely to hear the good news about Mitchell, he's deserved it. And I don't mean just the girlfriend but the college and his education in general.
All of you are in my prayers.
Hugs to Elliott - don't forget, crying is sometimes a release! I don't hold with the stiff upper lip. Just keep supporting each other through this awful time and cuddle Bella - she'll give you much comfort as well.

Hi Christine. So sorry that Elliot is having a problem with the mask. My sister-in-law was the same when she had her treatment, but she was helped through it by brilliant staff. You know that we will all be thinking of you and totally understand that you must concentrate on your family at the moment. Lovely to hear that Mitchell is enjoying his course and has a girlfriend. Remember to take care of yourself as well! As I told Elliot a while ago it's ok to cry, scream, shout and feel so bitter about the horrid place you are in at the moment, but then pick yourself back up and push on looking forward to the end of this bad time in your lives. Your tag is gorgeous, as always. Hope you can take some comfort from your crafting during this time. My love and very best wihes to you all. I will be thinking of you. Take crae.

We shall be here when you have time to update us but that is least of your priorities. Family always comes first. So sorry about Elliot, he's' been such a brave and positive boy and is allowed this blip, it will be sorted. However it must be really scary for him and my heart goes out to him. Lovely news about Mitchell.
One last thing I tried the lemon cake yesterday and it was gorgeous and I'm no baker but it's so easy to make (thankfully). Will be making it again x Beverley x

Lovely tag Christine, so pleased Mitchell is doing well at college and that he has a girlfriend. Elliott so sorry you have had such a crappy time this week. I would be anxious about being bolted down in a mask. But am sure the team will be able to offer some advice to you. Just hold on in there.
Christine you are a strong person and will get through this. Off course you will be upset to see your son distressed we all would be the same. It comes with the job of being a Mum. Much love and prayers . Hugs to you all Ann x
