What is ODW?
Each month for Spellbinders® I create various projects and one of them is a
ODW - One Die Wonder!
It means exactly that - just use one die set on a project, a little like my Friday Die Days.
These projects get shipped out to America and used in the big department stores -
JoAnns and Michaels. But that means you never get to see them!
So I went to Spellbinders and asked permission to share them here on my blog -
they said YES!
I am excited about this as I have quite a few.
Let's start today with Classic Scalloped Hearts
Every part of this project is made using just that one die set.
From a piece of A4 cream cardstock I created a wallet, rounded the corners and inked the edges.
I used a row of hearts to form a scallop edge and grouped the hearts to make a flower.
Inside I sprayed some regular clothes pegs with Cosmic Shimmer/Tattered Angels mists
and placed die cut hearts on each.
A nice gift of memo pegs, I use these for receipts, recipes and more -
far too pretty to be used for bills!
More ODW's will be on their way!
