A Mixture of Things...

Hello friends
Today all different things to bring to you...
firstly you may recall this card I made.
I am thrilled that it is appearing online with US craft magazine Crafts 'n Things -
there is a complete page where you can see a materials list and step by step instructions.

Secondly...WOW!
That would be WOW Embossing Powders.  I am now a stockist.
I have the powders (metallics, glitters etc), heat guns, Melt-It, stamps, containers, moulds and more.
All of this will be featured soon on the new website but in between please feel free
to get in touch if your heart desires beautiful embossing powder and accessories :)

And what else do I have for you....
WINNERS!
Yes about time I divulged the winners of the TWO sets of Vintage Lace Accents.

I'm afraid Bella went on a pooch strike (you just cannot get the staff you know!)
To be honest I'm typing this quite late in the evening and scheduling the post, Bella has
had a wonderful day running around my parents' garden and walks in the woods.
Picking winners from our spotty cup was just a little too much for her.
Instead I asked Elliott to pick out two numbers
(he used a random generator number thingy on his phone!)
I must also mention that I always include those who email in too.

The winners are......

and

Please drop me an email christine.emberson@blueyonder.co.uk
and I will make sure your dies get sent out to you.

Finally - CONFESSION TIME
I was at The Artistic Stamper last Saturday and quite a few ladies asked me
questions, queries about products etc.  I carefully wrote them all down on a piece of paper
so I could reply to each one in turn.  I have now managed to lose that piece of paper!!
I'm cross with myself as I'm normally organised but I hope to remedy the situation.
If you were at the classes and I haven't responded to your questions please get in touch
and I promise to sort them immediately.

Most definitely finally...Bella is off to be coiffured on 1st May - May Day haircut!
Time permitting, I am hoping to take her back to Higham Dog Show although I'm not so sure
she will do as well as last year.....

And (really this is the last thing....)
Big thanks for the continuing emails and comments - we are still awaiting a surgery date for
Elliott - there has been a few complications and the hospital also need to organise certain
Neurosurgeons and more.  In between we are keeping busy and occupied,
I've even returned to doing some knitting as it truly occupies the mind and audio books are fab -
we are falling asleep to the wonderful tones of Stephen Fry reading Harry Potter!
Take care friends.

Pretty card Christine, I had forgotten about that embossing folder. Sadly neither Bella nor Elliott and his phone picked my name, but congrats to the winners of those lovely dies.

Sorry about the hold up on E's surgery, I'm sure you want it over and done with now.

Lovely card. What a good idea to leave it in the embossing folder to add colour. Do you have any hints for adding sentiments (in the right place!) to the 3D folders?

Wow - in more ways than one. First of all, congrats to being in print once again and well deserved it is, too. I've always liked this card, the colours are beautiful and fresh and what's there not to like about butterflies and flowers!
- I hope that Elliott will get his surgery soon and that the complications were on the hospital's side of things, not with your little star himself. But it' better to have to wait for a little while longer and get a super-duper result than going ahead when it's not absolutely right to do so. Please do keep us informed, and do not lose heart because we are all routing for Elliott.
Finally, (my comments are nearly as long as your blog) knitting alone sends me to sleep, don't need any talking books. However, have toyed with the idea of getting some from the library. Then I can do even more crafting before serious gardening work gets in the way.
Have a good day, Christine. And the same goes for your boys.

Hi Christine, I love the card, and congrats to the winners of those fab dies. Hope you both don't have too long to wait for Elliot's surgery. You will have to show us your knitting when it's finished. xxxx

Hi Christine, Stephen Fry has THE most relaxing reading voice ever! We bought all of the Harry Potter audio books for long journeys in the car. Beautiful card, very summery, well worthy any magazine feature! Can you give me a closer look at the wow powder moulds ? I am melt pot crazy at the moment!
Glad to hear you are keeping busy, I find Kumihimo. Braiding very relaxing as its quite rhythmic , something Elliott might like as it produces quite masculine pieces of braiding that can be used for all sorts of things from dog collars to key chains, can be girly too depending on colour choice !
Hugs to you all,
Sandra xx

Hi Chris, hope you don't have to wait too long for Elliott's op. I think that the waiting is the hardest thing to do. Glad to hear that you are keeping busy by knitting.... you didn't say what you are knitting... let us into the secret and show us the finished article on your blog. Glad to see more stock arriving in your shop. Take care. Janice xx

Good luck with the dog show, even if you do'nt do as well as last year Bella we still think your one of the best - dont we ladies?
As for Elliott's surgery, here's hoping your wait will soon be over.

Hi Christine,
firstly congrats to the winners.
I have seen your card on the back of a book of papers I bought, and they were advertising Spellbinders. So this isn't the first time I have seen your wonderful creation.
I will keep my fingers crossed that Bella gets first place again this year.
My thoughts are with you and your family constantly over Elliott's health problems.
Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
