Hello friends
I hope you had a nice weekend, I caught up with a lot of jobs - perhaps that extra hour helped!?
Must admit, I have great empathy with Val - one of my cats also insists on waking me
up very early in the morning!
Thank you for all the kind tag comments yesterday - to answer a couple of questions,
the tags I use are available from East of India, they are thicker chipboard-like tags
and make a brilliant base. I purchase them from Temptation Gifts -
lovely website - (beware it makes your purse grow legs and run away!)
The lace I used on my Domestic Goddess plaque was purchased from
The Ribbon Girl - another brilliant website that has you clicking the 'add to basket' button!
Today's project is a scrapbook page that I created for Spellbinders™.
It features Mitchell (my eldest son) sitting with one of my sister's cats - he is a magnet to animals!
All the details of the dies etc can be found here.
I really enjoyed using Botanical Swirls and Accents as a mask.
I'm heading off to the studio this morning to create some more projects.
I may have mentioned that I tend to watch a lot of films while I'm crafting, recently
I purchased the DVD - The Notebook (the film based on the book by Nicholas Sparks)
well, what a lovely lovely film - thoroughly recommend it!
Please let me know your recommendations - I'm getting through 1-2 films a day at the moment!
Happy Monday dear friends.

Hi Christine, I'm still catching up after a frantic few days of craft fairs and workshops and it's back to work today too :(. Your scrapbook page is lovely - as for being woken early by pets, well we have 4 hens and even at weekends a lie in past daybreak is out of the question! Have a lovely day in your studio with your movies, you lucky lady! Carole Z X

Hi Christine, Firstly I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU for the class on Saturday, it was well worth the 260 mile drive to get to you!! I loved meeting you and new crafters and thoroughly enjoyed making the tags with the beautiful papers you gave us. The cake was lovely too - and the choccies. Had to come home a day early as DH is still very poorly. I hope to do a post on my tags tomorrow.
Beautiful layout, going over to have a look at that site.
Crafty hugs, Anne x
Morning Christine, What a beautiful scrapbook page, Mitchell looks gorgeous there with the cat, who looks equally gorgeous. I popped over to the Spellbinders for the deets, and the words on the Hidden Journalling Tag were truly beautiful.
Have a lovely day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Morning Christine, Lovely 'scrap' page, love the spritzed background and layout. How do you have time to watch 2 films a day and do everything else? Do you ever sleep? Emma
Love scrapbook page will have at sites later
Morning Christine
What a fabulous picture and layout
I must admit to being very grateful of the extra hour yesterday, I went to a local craft show and my cousin who I havent seen for years rang me, Oh we will call in on the way back, they live away but were in the area, and I am up to my ears in decorating again.... did use the extra hour to clear some space to sit down lol
My daughter mentioned The notebook yesterday to me and I have never heard of it. My all time favourite film is the Green Mile and another called Haatchi about a dog which is a bit sad
