Dancing Cherubs and Numbers

Hello friends,
Looks like another longish blog post!
Thank you for the wonderful response to the Advent Frame yesterday.
For those who have ordered they will be winging their way to you very soon.
I have received quite a few enquiries regarding the numbers I have used this year.
I appreciate that many of you are creating your own frames and projects so I have made the numbers available to purchase separately - just click on my pink 'Kits and Bits' button for the details.
If you do not have a PayPal account but wish to make a purchase, please drop me an email.

Today's card is a little different.  It uses one of the vintage images I mentioned the other day.
This time, little cherubs dancing (apologies - the light is bouncing off the image,
obviously taken before I went on the photography course!)
It was one whole picture but I chopped off the bottom section and
place it in a smaller square.
I used Fleur de Lis Squares - cut/embossed from black Bazill cardstock.
A black pearl swirl emulates the wavy flourish in the picture.
Last night I decided to fit something else into my busy schedule....I returned to evening classes!
I signed up to do a creative writing course.  Writing has always been a passion of mine and
I've been lucky in the past to have a few short stories published.
I felt it was time I revisited my muse so for the next 10 weeks on a Monday evening I'm heading
off to a local school and dutifully doing my homework!

This afternoon I'm visiting a craft group in Bexley, Kent.  I was kindly invited by Jan who has been along to one of my classes (and signed up for another!)
She asked me if I would like to visit her craft club to do a talk and demo...
I don't mind admitting...I'm good at the talking bit!
Have a lovely day...weather has turned very grey and wet here, a good excuse to stay in and craft.
Take care.

Hi Christine, my how are you going to fit your writing in with all your other activities. Watch you don't burn yourself out. Thank you for adding the numbers to your kits and bits, this part of making the frames was driving me mad but now I am able to complete my projects. I love the neutral colours used in today's card, so sweet.

How lovely to fit in another hobby into your already busy week. I hope you enjoyed your first class. I love reading and am wondering if your published work is available to read?. How exciting, I've never met an author in real life before!

Good job your cherubs weren't frolicking here this morning, we had a heavy frost (I'm in the west of Ireland). Pretty card though.

Lovely little card, its simplicity suits the style and the cherubs so well. Enjoy your new course Christine. CBW Carolyn x
