Pretty box. There's somthing about a vintage afternoon tea, maybe its the pretty china, it feasts the eyes before the belly and tea always seems to taste better in china cup. Enjoy the long weekend. JuliaTx

Hi Christine, A beautiful gift box, lovely flowers too.
Your afternoon tea looks fabulous, isn't that tradition brilliant.
I have spent all morning at Church cleaning, and all afternoon until 7pm baking six cakes, and all the washing up in between each set of two, for our Baking Sunday fundraiser tomorrow at Church (it is always the first Sunday of the month, and typically has fallen on Easter Sunday haha). I have made two Lemon and Coconut loaves (your recipe), and two Canadian Malt Loaves (your recipe), they are my favourite recipes, and two Cherry and Almond Simnel tarts.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
