Hello friends
Today featuring the Scalloped Box Up Box.
I had never actually made on of these but was delighted at how simple it was.
The die set looks like this...
You need to cut 4 box panels - the embossing places your score lines, very handy!
Do not fold one of the panels - keep one straight (far left) as this is the back section
of your pop up box. Hoping you can see in this photo
that you stick the panels together in a line with the side tabs.

You can then start to decorate -
place a long piece of patterned paper on your straight back panel (see tip below).
Smaller squares of patterned paper on the remaining top panels -
these fold outwards.
Cut/emboss three of the little strips, again it embosses where you need to make folds.
These are the support sections inside and you need to place them something like this...
It is then just a case of folding the box around and adhering the last tab.
Tip: do not stick down fully that long panel of patterned paper as you can
insert the final tab behind it making a nice neat job.
Here I've decorated the box with Marisa's Bouquet and Bordered Sentiments.
Those inner support sections are for attaching your stems etc.

The pretty scallop sections are dies that come with the Pop Up Box die set,
useful to use on other projects too.
And same applies to the Bordered Sentiments, I'm seeing those on cards too.
Scalloped Pop Up Box is available on the website here,
Marisa's Bouquet is here and Bordered Sentiments are here!
Remember this box folds flat too so can be posted :)
Take care friends, hope you are having a good week -
I've had washing on the line every day...it's the little things!

Good morning Christine
Wow this is a lovely card, something that would remain on the mantelpiece long after your birthday was over. I have made a couple of these pop up cards but it takes a lot of measuring (and in my case lots of mistakes). I think this die would make it so much easier.
I too have had a line full of washing everyday. The clothes smell so wonderful when they have dried outside - lovely.
Enjoy your day (whatever the weather)
Lesley
Morning Christine,

Hello Christine
Thank for that they always look so complicated and you have broken it down to look easier!
Love washing on the line, but finish towels in the dryer!
take care
Love Marg
A beautiful pop up box Christine, but to be fair I've made this without using a die - just measuring, scoring and cutting. Ideal for those who don't have confidence in measuring though. The decorations you've used are lovely. Janice xxx http://createdbyjan.blogspot.com

Great idea to have a die that makes the box - it's quite tedious measuring to make all the folds.
Hooray. Thank you Christine. Such as easy explanation and wonderful flowery box. Just when I need something special. Fabulous. xxMargaretxx
A gorgeous project Christine, such pretty flowers. I'm very tempted with this one. It's great to get the washing out, dried, ironed and put away. Very satisfying.
