Come on Bluebells!

Hello friends

I hope you all had a nice weekend, the weather here was kind on Saturday but
miserable on Sunday...what a shame a day of crafting!
Thankfully the weather was still ok to walk Bella so we ventured to the woods.
The bluebells are not doing so well this year, normally it is a carpet of blue by now.
 Still pretty but sparse!

Today's craft project, a sympathy card -
not always the easiest cards to make but I think they are appreciated at sad times.
Blooms Four for the white flower and my favourite stamp set -
Scripty Sayings by Lawn Fawn.

Take care friends - I'm back tomorrow.

Hi Christine. Today's card is perfect as a sympathy card. They are never the easiest t make are they?
Glad to see that you managed to get out into the woods, your bluebells are a little behind ours here in Oxfordshire but just think, you get to enjoy them for longer : )
Have a good day. Take care xx

Morning Christine,

Beautiful card, sad but we all have to use them at some time.

I love Bluebells, the best place i have ever seen them was up in South Norfolk, Stratton Strawless or something like that the place was called, just beautiful.

Have a great day

Love & hugs

Good morning Christine,
It looks like Bella is having the time of her life dashing around the bluebells, I saw some beautiful carpets of blue as we drove through the Cotswold Countryside on Saturday, I think we are a day or two ahead of you, but yours will still be beautiful as ours are fading!
Always the trickiest cards to make, I am not really a fan of seeing Lillie's and crosses on sympathy cards, your design is a breath of fresh air Christine, it's like a monotone stained glass window, very effective and perfect for the job!
Sending you huge hugs

Morning Christine, Lovely piccies, your bluebells do seem to be a little late, but you will have them for longer hopefully.
We had a horrid day on Saturday, torrential rain, but yesterday was really lovely, I did the gardening in the afternoon. Today however it was really frosty early on, but now the sun has shown it's face, but according to the forecast we have rain coming in, yuck !!
Your card is lovely, I never like to do Sympathy cards, I keep telling myself to make a few and keep them in a box for future use, but they are so upsetting to make, that never seems to happen.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Lovely card Christine, I like those scripty sayings too.

No buds on my blue bells yet, but I'm further north, approx level with the Lake District, but in the west of Ireland.

Hi Christine
Not the easiest card to make. But this one is simple and to the point.

Really good design for this card. Not everyone likes flowers or religious cards. You wouldn't want to be out in the woods today, I have snow here. Not lying in town, but lots on the hills and it's perishing cold.

Hi Christine
A very apt card for sending your sympathies. Unfortunately I had to make one this weekend too. Always a difficult card to make I find but yours is perfect.
I watched Create and Craft this weekend and saw Christina demoing some new Spellbinders. Will you be stocking any of these, especially the flower sets?
Enjoy your day
Lesley

Lovely idea for a sympathy card - not easy to do and this fits the bill for both male and female recipients Bella looks like she had fun! See you tomorrow
