Welcome Home!

Hello friends
It is another scrapbook page today - this one is also being featured in this month's edition
of Scrapbook Magazine.  The photograph is of my nephew James with his Bengal cat Casper.
James had just returned home from some rather gruelling training activities and all he wanted to do
was cuddle his cat!  We are totally mad about animals in my family.
It is always a challenge creating masculine projects so very thankful for Stars Five.
The travel themed papers are Bo Bunny - Detour.

Other news...I have literally been watching paint dry!
The shop sign is still along the floor but the paint just will not dry...slight sign postponement situation.
The little oak units are coming along - since this photo they've had another coat -
I much prefer them in cream.
Today...I'm making a curtain for the shop window (with the help of my mum).
I purchased some fabric yesterday, I never seem to find ready-made curtains in the fabrics I like!
 More photos tomorrow.
Oh yes..just to confirm - yesterday's photo of Bella, they are little grass seeds in her fur, she had
been running around the field and woods behind my parents' home - her most favourite place in the world (well, apart from when she is sneakily sleeping in my bed!)
Take care friends.

Morning Christine, Your layout for the piccie of your Nephew is amazing, love it.
So sorry your paint is taking longer than normal to dry, we'll have to wait a bit longer to see it in all it's glory.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Christine.
Your scrapbook page is really great I hope the paint on the shop sign soon dries, this damp and cold weather does not help. Really looking forward to seeing more photos I am sure everything will look lovely. Take care. x.

Morning Christine,
Your page looks great just the sort of papers for a man.
The little oak shelves look good much better painted.
Looking forward to seeing more progress.
Good luck with the curtains.

Morning Christine, gorgeous page today, the papers work so well for a male theme. I expect the weather isn't helping the paint dry, noting worse than waiting for paint to dry or the kettle to boil!! Hope it dries soon. Emma

Morning Christine

I really like your scrapbook page, it's a lovely picture of your nephew. I have some of those papers too, really good for masculine cards too.

Hope you're not 'watching the paint dry' too much, it's handy that you can be crafting at the same time!
Enjoy your day

Morning Christine, it is wonderful that all your family are animal mad. I know what you mean about the grass seeds, they get everywhere on our furry friends don't they? Bella likes sleeping in your bed??? Now there's a surprise???
Very masculine scrapbook page and the cabinets are coming on a treat.
Happy curtain making today.

Great scrapbook page

I love the units in cream the details seem to stand out more. Hmm watching paint dry bit like watching the knitting shows on tv lol Hope your signs soon dry so you can get them hung. I think handmade curtains are far superior to ready made ones anyway

Hi Christine - I don't manage to blog everyday but I do check your other posts when I do get on the site. I love the pics of Bella and her grass seed jewellery! My cats always came in with them and sat while I took them out!

Anyway - I love your scrapbook page brilliant colour choices. Also think your cupboards are beautiful. I have a corner cupboard which my grandfather made in 1906 with carving on the door. They are sooooo useful!!!

Hugs to you Sue Pxxx
