Rummaging....

Hello friends

As promised I went rummaging in my scrap box to find out the details of the paper used on this card....
well, I found a piece but annoyingly I had cut off the manufacturer details - doh!
I am not certain but I suspect it could be Prima papers - I'm going to keep trying to locate it
on the internet and will definitely let you know.
I've been busy with projects and making a start on the TV samples and demos.
I will share some sneak peeks soon.
In the meantime, my rummaging expanded to some other boxes and I discovered
this project....

I thought the red and white was quite appropriate as we are hurtling towards Valentine's Day.
This could easily be adapted with a heart instead of the butterfly.
The embossing is created with M-Bossabilities Floral Folder and I've lightly inked the edges.
A combination of Classic Ovals LG and Floral Ovals and the stunning butterfly is
Wings of Hope - stencilling through the die at its best!
I'm considering making something a little similar to this for TV on Saturday,
I do like to feature something edible!

Also - you may have noticed on my blog sidebar is my 'Craft Blogs' ranking -
I've been at 13 for so long and yesterday it jumped up to 12 - that was so nice...
like many others I get a little wobbly over the number '13'!
Take care friends - the snow is trying to make a comeback here!

Hi Christine - what a gorgeous card with the butterfly - I also like the spellbinders butterfly expandable as the butterfly on that is great for cutting to decoupage.. Your orphan paper is really lovely for the vintage card - hope you find out where it is from.

Hi Christine.

What a lovely day to come back from visiting my son in the UK to find such a pretty butterfly and to discover you must be on the tele on Saturday.

I had a very eventful journey to Liverpool. There was a freak snowstorm and we had to be diverted to Luton to get a coach to Liverpool. However when we landed the motorways were closed so we were put up in The Hampshire Hilton which was very nice. We got on a coach at lunchtime and headed up the motorway. My journey took me 24 hours. Anyway it was all worth it. I had a lovely time with my son and friends.

Hi Christine

This card/tag is just gorgeous and the stencilling on the butterfly certainly brings it to life! I love how you've combined the differ oval dies.

Looking forward to seeing some sneak peaks this week, and have already set the box to record your shows.

A little bit of snow here still this morning, so should be gone by the end of the day - well, fingers crossed eh!

Congratulations on moving up the blogging ladder, you must be pleased that it means more people are discovering and viewing your blog.

Have a great day.

I love both cards Christine (the tag could be made into a card). And whatever the paper is on the first card, it works very well, but could be adapted with other, similar papers.
