Friday Die Day

Hello friends
One of the lovely Die D-Lites™  this week - Medallion Two.
I'm very fond of the Die D-Lites, the sizing is ideal of cards and definitely tags!
There are a beautiful assortment in the medallion range.
You receive three die templates with this set.
This is how they look cut/embossed.
The middle die does not have an outer cutting edge so you can either place it inside the label shape
or onto a larger piece of card to create a pretty aperture design.
I've chosen to cut/emboss some from red cardstock and patterned paper.
A tag...the lettering is upside down because I wanted the flourish patterned paper to the bottom!
I've placed the die cuts using foam pads (also it has hidden the upside down letters!)
Placed into the middle a Rose Creation cut from vellum and sprayed with glimmer mist.
I love doing this!
Stamped the bottom edge of the tag with some wording - the definition of 'Cre-ate'.
This stamp is from the Artistic Stamper - details are here.
A close up shot.
A simple speedy tag today and talking of tags...
I now have the ones that I use in my Amazon shop - both in manilla and kraft, just click on the sidebar.

Other news...a space has just become available on my Nestaboard/Grand Dies class this Sunday,
just in case any of you are free ...it is 11am to 4pm - email me if you fancy coming along
to craft, chat and eat cake!
Take care friends - have a brilliant weekend.

Hi Christine - thanks for all these ideas about using the dlites I have some but struggled to get good results til I found the waxed paper [or rather my crafting friend found it! and shared it]. Wish I lived closer to attend your classes.

A really pretty tag Christine. Goodness me is my face red!! When I was looking at it I thought I'm sure I have one of those, when I looked at my Spellbinders sure enough I do - the exact same one and never used! I am hanging my head in shame but determined to have a play with it this weekend. I guess that is what Friday Die Day is all about!!!! Have a lovely weekend xx

Hi Christine. I never really got excited about the Di D-lites until I won one from you.Since then I've bought quite a few of them and they are what they say - a delight.
Really perfect on smaller card and great on a very busy background.

Beautiful tag today. The flower in the centre is really pretty.

Morning Christine, Can you believe it, Friday Die Day here again, it is frightening how quickly these weeks are going ha ha.
I love these dies, I didn't realise that the middle one didn't cut around the edge, so that's something I have learned today ha ha. I so love your compilation of your tag and the colours are beautiful, I really must try doing the rose creation on vellum and spritzing, it is stunning.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Morning Christine. Love the tag and the way you have used the die lite die. I do like the medallions just cut out in the centre of the card backed with something glittery lol. But the wax paper cut out is beautiful too

Hope you get the place filled on Sunday

Hi again Christine, just been looking back over the past weeks blog and felt that I really should just add to todays comments.
Firstly, the shop window look beautiful, very inviting to those who pass it, infact, lets hope it attacts them in, we need more crafters!
Secondly your projects are great, esp. the mixed media book.
Thirdly, will be recording your TV shows as I'm attending our local craft day workshop at the village hall. Something to look forward to when I get back home.
Finally, concratulations on moving up the Blog Charts, you deserve to get to the top!

Good evening Christine

Later than usual for me today. Had to collect my husband from hospital in London after an overnight stay, so taken most of the day.

Pleased to come home though to FDD! I love this set of dies and your tag of course! You are putting temptation in our way with your FDD, but it's a great way for us all to be tempted! Plus you give us so many ideas too, no wonder we all look forward to Friday's!

Look forward to seeing you on the TV tomorrow!
