Finishing Touches and Lots More!

Hello friends
Definitely a long blog post today - pop that kettle on!
Yesterday was a fruitful day - yippee!
The shop window finally came together, I've gone for a bit of a Valentines theme for this month with
red hearts, red cushion and other accessories.
The little units are now painted cream and I found a bargain lap tray....
it is perfect for displaying Spellbinders brochures, a flower display (my clever Mum made that for me)
and a few heart chocolates...not sure how long they will remain in that glass....!
A bit more of a close up, I've gone for cream bird cages at the moment, brighter ones
coming out in the Spring.
I'm all set for today's class - a mixed media canvas...here is a sneak peek...
Also, a project of mine has just popped up on Julianna's Positively Me Blog
While I was shopping in B&Q for paint for the studio (it was probably about the tenth trip as I used
SO much paint!) I found myself wandering down the gardening section and the pretty packets of seeds caught my eye.  I came up with the idea of making a seed gift wallet - all the details are here.
And....I haven't forgotten about Pet Gallery, I still have some photos to share with you...
Today two crafty cats!
This is Harry
and this is Louis (I spy a Rose Creation on the desk, you clever cat Louis!)
These adorable two live with Susan (Craftin' Susie) and there is a third cat called Cleo who is camera shy!
Susan explains that her cats like to get involved in craft and make a point of laying on top of any
projects in progress.  It must be hard to concentrate with these two, I think I would be stopping
every five minutes to make a fuss of them.
Some treats are on their way.

Phew...said it was a long blog post!  I do hope you are having an enjoyable weekend...
who is managing to fit in some craft??
Take care friends.

Hi Christine

Your window looks wonderful, you have a great eye for fixtures and fittings. The shelves look perfect painted cream too. It's just the type of window that draws me inside the shop when I'm visiting small towns and villages, so hopefully yours will do the same.
Love the seed packet, I saw it last night and left a comment.
Have a great day today, I'm sure the ladies will have a fab time, your samples look gorgeous.

Oh Christine, you shop is looking lovely and you have all worked so hard but you should be very proud as it really does show. All of you give yourselves a big pat on the back. Funnily enough it is just how I imagined it might look because of your style through your craft. Fab. Now enjoy it.

Morning Christine, congratulations and how wonderful to see the finished article. It was nice to see all the things you had shown on your blog prevously actually insitu. You must be so proud that everything has finally come together for your first class today. Phew...I hear you say. Does this mean you will be having a little rest now - I somehow don't think you will, but from now on it will be more crafting.
Harry and Louis you are adorable.
The family are coming over for Sunday tea today and I hope to fit some crafting in later tonight.
Enjoy your first class Christine and the lucky ladies who will be attending.

Hi Christine, WOW, the shop window looks divine, I love it, you have an 'eye' for detail, everything complements beautifully. I hope your class went well today, the sneaky peak looks gorgeous.
Susan's cats look beautiful, Louis looks very much like my Lloyd and Lizzie, sadly we lost Lloyd a week ago last Friday, he was ill for much of the week and the Vet tried everything but sadly he was diagnosed with cancer of the bowel and we had to make that horrible heart-rending decision, Lizzie is still very confused as she has been with him since birth, she wants constant attention from us and we are trying to fuss her as much as we can, they were identical so you can imagine everytime we look at her we also see Lloyd.
I have spent yesterday afternoon and this afternoon making a card for my hubby's 60th birthday on Valentine's Day and I still haven't finished it ha ha. I started out with an idea, then some parts didn't work out and so on and I ended up in a totally different direction with it ha ha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
