Festive in February!

Hello friends
Let's be festive on this February Monday!
I know that being festive is a little strange when I'm craving Spring but I want to share with you
a project of mine that is featured inside the new Giftabilities Book.
It is a tree decoration created with foil and the very pretty Exquisite Circles.
There are various Christmas ornaments created with this die template and full instructions.
It was a case of arranging the dies - I used the largest die as a backing
cut/embossed from teal coloured patterned paper and the various additional layers cut from craft foil.
I made three in total (you can see a tiny glimpse of another one in the top corner) but this
is the one selected for the book.  I've had to crop the photo hence the sentiment is slightly blurred.

Things are progressing well with the new studio/shop sign although we did have a puzzling moment...
how are we going to put the sign up?  None of our ladders are long enough!
My mum hit upon the brainwave of asking our window cleaners...so making a phone call and
pleading with them today!
With reference to the Adhesive Hearts yesterday I'm certain they would work with gilding flakes and also micro beads, the surface is super sticky so most things will stick.
Perhaps we need to investigate the most unusual things we could use... :)

Have a good Monday dear friends.
Take care.

Good morning Christine, what a really pretty Christmas ornament. I haven't got these dies, although I would like them, along with many others on my list of 'must haves'. I'm just wondering whether something similar could be made from some other sets of dies? Food for thought because I would love to make some of these as gifts for next year.
Looking forward to seeing the sign, I'm sure the window cleaner will help you out.

Morning Christine

What a super idea and it makes a lovely decoration. I did think that these were actually the dies at first look, stupid me!

I'm sure your window cleaners will help you out, what a brilliant brainwave from your Mum!

Hope you and your family enjoyed your day yesterday, and you're not too exhausted from all the cooking! A day crafting would soon put that right lol

Have a good day

Hi Christine love the decoration, and am so happy for you to be in the book, with your talent, you could do a book of your own.Great idea your mom had the window cleaner should have no problem putting up the sign for you. It was sunny here yerstday here and O.M.G. the windows need to be cleaned badly,I have 20 windows and not a window cleaner in sight,as we live in the country, there is no window cleaners that I know of,but now that windows are on my mind ,will have to make some inquires,
