Father's Day

Hello friends,
It's Father's Day!
This isn't actually a photo of my Dad - this is one of the cards I created for Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine last month, but it is a Father's Day card so appropriate to share with you today.
I find making cards for men is always a little more difficult,
I find the easiest way to go about it is by a 'substitution method' - where I would normally put a flower or butterfly - I would use a heart or star.  Buttons always work well on male cards.
So adopting my method on this card,  I used Classic Hearts - stamping and a little inking.
Cutting the photo with Labels One and using Classic Bracket Edgeabilities®
for the card edge makes it a little more special.
Have a wonderful day and special wishes to all the Dads out there.
(So much love to my wonderful Dad - here we are in Wales a year or so ago -
he's obviously the best Dad in the world!) xx

Take care,
