Friday Die Day

Hello friends

This week's Friday Die Day features Victorian Picket.
A sweet die set that could be used for many projects.

The approximate measurements are:
Grassy Patch 1: 1¼ x ¼” (2 pcs)
Grassy Patch 2: 1⅜ x ¼”
Rail: 5⅛ x ¼” (2 pcs)
Fence: 5⅛ x 1½”

This is how it looks cut/embossed.
It's a card this week.
I selected some shaded papers from Cosmo Cricket - Summer Love and
die cut the fence aperture in each.
I cut/embossed the fence and rails in white cardstock, also my favourite Sprigs
and some smaller flowers.
I then trimmed the shaded papers to represent sky and grass and inserted them
around my die cut and glued down.
My next step was to create a rectangle - I used Pierced Rectangles.
Love the 'dottiness' around the edge!
My card base - white cardstock matted with patterned paper -
Kaisercraft - Kaleidoscope.
Stamped greeting - Lawn Fawn - Scripty Sayings.
The finished card.
Added the Sprigs and flowers (decided not to use the bright pink one!)
Close up pics.

Victorian Picket is available on the website here.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend and don't forget if you happen to live near
Staveley, Chesterfield I will be demoing all day tomorrow at Time2Craft.
It's quite a drive so Elliott is coming with me, he likes chatting just as much as me!

Take care friends.

Morning Christine, I love how this card has come together, the 'marriage' between the background paper and the shaded other paper with the die-cuts on, is fabulous.
Is the 'rail' die a railway track ??
Have a good weekend, and safe journey to you both.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
