Blogging from the beautiful Lake District using a Blogger app that doesn't really like me!
Honestly, it kept deleting my photos! Thankfully with my IT geek to hand (Elliott) we got there.
We arrived via Bakewell yesterday, a quaint village with lots of interesting shops. I was also able to purchase salted fudge - a new addiction of mine!
The craze of attaching love padlocks to bridges has even reach here.
Whoever placed this one wanted it to be permanent!
We've been dodging the rain so far although today we are on a train journey and a boat trip - could be chancing it!
It's not too late to comment on yesterday's blog post if you haven't already done so and be in with a chance of winning a set of Spellbinders dies. Good luck everyone, Mitchell is selecting the winners.
My final photo is especially for my Dad, he's rather partial to a pie and the selection in Bakewell was amazing.
Take care friends - enjoy your weekend.

Hi Christine and Elliott, I'm sure you are having a wonderful time in the beautiful Lake District. I spent my honeymoon there so it has happy memories for me.
Just catching up on the last couple of days blogs. Many congratulations Christine on your marvellous new position with Spellbinders. I'm so glad they can see your true worth. It would be wonderfulif, in your role as International Ambassador you could come and visit us here in Spain. You'll always have a place to stay.
Must nip back to yesterdays blog now to see if I'm the lucky who will wind the dies.
Have a wonderful time.
Love Val in Spain x
Hello Christine!

Hi Christine
Glad to see you are enjoying the joys of my part of the country and that the rain has stayed away. Hopefully you are enjoying another glorious, if a little chilly, day.
The people of Bakewell would be a bit upset if they heard you calling their pudding a pie!!
Enjoy the sunshine
Lesley
Hi Christine. Thanks for persevering with todays blog. It is great to see the pics, those pies look gorgeous,
I spy my favourite Apple and Blackberry, and that is one big padlock!
Did you try a original Bakewell Tart yesterday? How lucky that you both can enjoy beautiful countryside AND delicious food : )
As long as you have the right clothing you will have a lovely time no matter what the weather won't you, but I do hope the weather is kind to you at least while on the boat trip part of today! Take care.
You have to taste at least one of those pies Christine, they are so yummy. Glad you are dodging the rain, perhaps today will be kind to you. I so wish I was there with you. If you bump into a 6ft plus, balding, white haired geeky looking walker up a mountain, say hello to my brother! LOL.
Oooh, I love Bakewell, such a pretty place. It is almost the law that it will rain while you're in the Lake District - guess that's what makes it so green and full of lakes! Enjoy.
Great photos, especially the one of Elliott! It's wet and windy here in Kent interspersed with absolutely gorgeous, warm, bright sunshine. Lovely, except when I left the washing out - oops! Enjoy your break.
Hi Christine & Elliot

Hope the weather is good to you. Would like a chance to win the dies from yesterday.
It took me a while to work out how to comment from your new creativity site tho.
