Hello friends
A revisit today, if you could see the muddle my craft room is in I'm sure you
will understand!
This week I am featuring Gold Corners One from the Imperial Gold dies.
This week I am featuring Gold Corners One from the Imperial Gold dies.
This is how they look cut/embossed.
I chose to cut/emboss 8 scallop corner die cuts from red cardstock.
Here is the tag - please note the splodge-like marks are the paper design - I didn't spill my coffee!
Applied some liquid adhesive to the straight corners.
Layered one on top of the other but opened up the scallop edge to create a little pocket.
Layered with Gold Labels Four.
Arranged my corner 'pockets' to create a flower.
A little flower, pearl and lace ribbon added to finish. You can of course stamp/add a sentiment,
my main focus was using the corners as a flower.

A close up picture.
I have a set of these dies in my Pre-Loved shop department, don't forget to check that out -
more dies being uploaded.
Have a great weekend, the forecast says 22 degrees - I'm slightly weather obsessed
at the moment as want to wood treat and move into my cabin!
Take care friends.

Morning Christine, been catching up as had some very early work starts recently (out of the house at 5 yesterday). Great news fir Elliott, is he going to get Mac D withdrawal?, hope it's 22 degrees this weekend definitely don't like the cold and damp. Your cabin looks great, wish we had space for one. I've recently re visited my spellbinders, they've been sitting in a corner 'resting' but getting back into using them again, have made around 150 Christmas cards so far....must make more, have 4 crafts fairs over 3 weekends - eeeek. Have a great day. Lynn xx
Lovely to see the tag again Christine, I do hope you manage to get your cabin treated this weekend, is this a job for the boys while you are shopping for flooring? Have a great weekend whatever you decide to do.
Chris xx
Hi Christine. Lovely tag, the corners make such an unusual flower : )
Bring on the heatwave, both for me because my joints hate the damp and cold, and for you so that you can get your cabin treated : ) Have a great weekend. Take care.
Great to be reminded of this top tip.
Hope the weather stays fine for you so you can start preparing the cabin.
Michele.

Morning Christine
What a lovely surprise to see FDD today, I didn't expect that knowing how you haven't a craft room at the moment! Always good to remind us of how to use the dies, it's a lovely tag.
The weather is glorious agin this morning, we are being spoilt. It's a lovely time of year as the trees start changing colour with the sun on them.
Good luck with the wood treating.

Good Morning Christine
Love what you did with those Dies, I don't think they are easy to fit into a project, but you managed well!
I am still looking for a Grand Die LF-168 but it has been discontinued and left the planet..I keep looking in your shop.... but no luck !
I love the look of your cabin, and I bet you feel the same but more excited..I am so envious!
Take care in the heatwave !

Hi Christine
what a lovely tag. I hope the weather is good for you so that you can crack on with your cabin. Just as well you aren't living north of the border as it has been raining in Dundee since yesterday morning:(
take care

Morning Christine, A great FDD today, I had to chuckle at your explanation of the paper used haha. Lovely how you made the pocket petals with the corner dies, love your finished tag.
I'm like you with the weather, it is warm here, I set my fire off this morning as there were a few embers still there, so put on another log, and now I'm sat here in my dressing gown with my arms out of my sleeves trying to cool off hahahaha.
I hope you manage to get your wood treatment done this weekend.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Very pretty tag Christine. Hope the weather stays good for you this weekend.

Hi Christine, great to see dies used in a different way - loved your 'NOT coffee' comment! Hope you get the cabin work done - how exciting to have such a nice place to craft!
Love, Belinda. X
That's clever Christine - it's amazing what you can do with a bit of imagination. You don't sell that do you?
Morning Christine,
Can fully understand that you may be in a muddle, bet you find things you had forgotten about.
Hope the weekend is a productive one for you and you get some work done on your cabin.
A very pretty tag.

Hi Christine, Firstly, wonderful news for Elliott following his MRI scan the other day, so pleased to know all is going well on that front.
