Friday Die Day

Hello friends

Friday Die Day and today it is Pierced Circles.
These are part of the Spellbinders® Celebra’tions line.
This set has a combination of cut edge circles and piercing edge circles.
When nested, it creates a piercing edge to its die cut.

The sizes are:
Circle 1 – 1⅞” (Inset)
Circle 2 – 2”
Circle 3 – 2⅞” (Inset)
Circle 4 – 3”
Circle 5 – 3⅞”(Inset)
Circle 6 – 4”
This is how each set looks cut/embossed.
A card today.
Ivory linen card base with a piece of patterned paper from my odd box
(I believe it is Arcadia).
I've stamped a sentiment directly onto the patterned paper.
I've chosen to use the middle and smaller sized die cuts, offsetting one against the other.
Positioned onto my card with a pretty Create A Gerber Daisy
(these are still on special offer on the website along with the other Create A Flower dies).
A bit of ribbon and bow sneaked in...I don't do ribbon bows very often!
A close up of that lovely piercing, it really is effective.
You can purchase Pierced Circles on the website here,
there is also available Pierced Rectangles, Ovals and Squares.

Thank you for all the comments yesterday...
Bullace recipes - it is possible to make bullace gin and vodka!
But for those of you who like alcohol free...they make fine jam and chutney too!
Lots of recipes on the internet.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.

Good Morning Christine
Wow what great dies - I haven't seen these ones before. Another to add to my wish list.
I love the card you have made today. The background paper is gorgeous and I love the little gerber daisy you have used. I have the sunflower and the rose dies in this set and they are brilliant as the focal point of your card.
Well must go - housework waits for no woman unfortunately.
Enjoy your day.

Hello Christine. These dies are really interesting. They'd look like stitching with white pen joining up the dots. A must have. What beautiful paper too, making a stunning card. Have a lovely day. xxMargaretxx

Beautiful card Christine, but I can't justify buying the dies, as I have a set of Spellies plain circles, and I could, if pushed, do my own piercing, as I do it on straight edges.

I LOVE your card Christine! Right up my street. Doesn't the piercing make a difference to a plain old circle. I'd hate to do this by hand though.
