Coffee, Cream and World Pomination!

Hello friends
A card I made appeared yesterday over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog.
I went for a coffee/cream palette using Graphic 45 Botanical Tea papers.
I chose to use Creative Photo Corners on the different layers of papers.
The dies are Sprigs, Blooms Three, Ovals One and Frames Two.
The bunting is made from 3D Foam Pennants.
All step by step details can be found here and, if you wish,
feel free to leave a comment over there too... :)

So...have you heard about World Pomination??
It is an attempt to break the record for the longest line of pom poms.
All the details are here and if you are taking part and would prefer to
make speedy pom poms (instead of chopping up your breakfast cereal box)
there are just a couple of makers left in stock!

Kitten update:
Elliott is a perfect parent ...he said all this sitting down is quite hard work!
The little girl Lily is a real character, she went from being very shy to confident overnight!
She is also very vocal whereas Pixel the boy, eats his food, plays and sleeps!

Finally - there is still time to book a place at Jennie's Floral Fusion Melt Pot class
this Sunday, a couple of spaces left in the afternoon (morning class sold out).
The project is a frame similar to this one with lots of melt pot techniques.
Flowers, butterflies...oooo lovely!

Don't forget to stop by tomorrow - Friday Die Day!
Take care friends.

Hi Christine, loving the coffee and cream colours with the hint of peach in your card today. It's lovely - notice the twigs in there - that die is one I tend to always go for too.
Lovely picture of the parent and kitties, bless them. They are obviously not spoilt - uhmmmmm.

Hi Christine,
Lovely project, will pop over layer to see how you made it!
It looks like Lily and Pixel have settled in already, how old are they look so big!i didn't realise until recently about some of their strange behavior, such as when you are stroking them, they almost thrust their bottom at you, this is them saying "hi, I like what you are doing"! Another thing that both Bella and Milo do is a funny little 'dance' when you are stroking them, they pad their feet, almost going from one foot to the other, this is because you stroking them is reminding them of their mummy and the 'padding' with their feet is what they did to get milk out, I found these little facts totally fascinating! Bella was very quiet when we first had her, but now she is as vocal as Milo, they make so many different noises, some sound like little dinosaur noises, this is mainly when they are looking for each other!
It would a appear that I have turned into 'crazy cat lady!)
Hugs

Ooh, a bumper post today Christine, lovely to see Elliott looking so well and happy with a lap full of kittens (they are growing already). Great colour scheme on the card, can't come to a class, but must get my melt pot out again, have been airbrushing recently instead.

Coffee and cream - nothing nicer (unless you add chocolate). It's a lovely card. I like the use of the photo corners as an alternative to matting and layering to separate the gorgeous papers.

Love the card Christine, the photo corners certainly do the trick.
Not sure who looks the most content, the kittens or Elliott !!
