Going all techy!

Hello friends

Technology is a wonderful thing...when it works of course!
In my attempt to keep up with the fast pace of technology it is now possible
to read my blog on your Kindle!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hope-Chances-Creativity/dp/B00M0UC7IG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1406199413&sr=8-1&keywords=hope+%26+chances+creativity
You can read 'me' on all these Kindle devices:
Kindle e-Readers, Paperwhite, Kindle,
Kindle Touch, Kindle Keyboard, Kindle DX, Kindle 1st and 2nd Generation

It means that my blog is auto-delivered wirelessly to your Kindle and updated so you stay current.

It costs 99p per month (works out I am approximately 3p per day!)
There is a also a free 14 day trial - you can cancel at any time during the free
trail period but if you enjoy your subscription, do nothing and it will automatically
continue at the usual price.

All the details can be found via this link.

It is possible to leave reviews on Amazon too...be lovely if you can
and even better if they are good :)
I even impressed the boys when I said I had organised this!

Other news:
Chris has kindly sent a photo of her completed Charity Kit.
She said she couldn't 'bear' to cut the paper so used the full sheet,
I think it looks really effective.
I do think the bear looks so sad though!
There are not many July Charity Kits left, seems like lots of you are happy
to start Christmas cards in July - I really must take a leaf out of your book.
August kit is in the planning - I still keep that notepad by my bed each night and
often wake up with ideas that I just have to write down!

Are you tuning into Create and Craft?
Spellbinders is Pick of the Week and there are some gorgeous new Christmas dies.
My dear friend Kim Hupke, Education Director at Spellbinders
has flown from Iowa to do the shows.
I created the design boards, some projects and a few may appear as demos
so keeping my eyes peeled!  In fact you may guess from this Create and Craft
studio picture which projects are mine...chocolate wrapper, matching card and tag!
I am travelling to the Create and Craft studios tomorrow to meet up with Kim,
we are heading into Peterborough for a meal so if you live that way...
any recommendations?
Well must dash - off to Knit and Natter, I'm cake laden!

Take care friends.

Hi Christine,
You are a clever girl, isn't it nice when technology works. Thank you for showing my card, the little bear is a Charlie Bear called Ollie, it was a present from my two children, he does look sad but he is cute and gets lots of cuddles.
Enjoy your knit & natter today and your trip tomorrow, are we likely to see you on screen?
Chris xx

Hi Christine. Not being in the least technical it all sounds like a foreign language to me. Yes I know I'm behind th e times!!!
Enjoyed the launch of the Pick of the Week yesterday. Have already some of the older ones and although the new ones are lovely, going to use last years again this year. Will look out for your samples.
Love the card and the bear Chris.
Enjoy your day.

Hi Christine. You are doing so well with all of the techy stuff aren't you, the boys must be proud of you for doing it all yourself : )
Chris's card is gorgeous, Charlie bear does look sad but I see from her comment that he is much loved.
I always have a notebook and pencil by my bed as I often think of things at silly o clock and if I don't write them down straight away they are forgotten in the morning(note that I said pencil, fell back to sleep one night with a pen in my hand. What a mess by the morning!) : )
I have seen a little of the Spellbinders Pick of the week. It's good to see some of the older dies as well as some new ones. Your card etc. are so pretty, what a lovely gift set it all makes : ) I always think of yo when they come up as I remember you saying that you make them. It's funny how we don't think of the making of things like that . I make up Jigsaw puzzles for Ravensburger (hope it's ok to say the brand name, if not just delete it Christine)just for the pleasure, it's not a paid job, they are used for advertising, ie in catalogues, shops and at shows etc. Like your boards I had never thought about who made the jigsaws up.
Have a lovely time with Kim, sorry can't help with any recommendations but I'm sure you will enjoy yourselves. Sure you will all enjoy Knit and Natter today too. I bet you won't be taking any cakes back home again though : ) Take care.

Good morning Christine
Wow I am impressed (although I don't have a kindle). Technology and I have a love/hate relationship - I hate it and it loves to let me down!!! My children think it is hilarious.
Love the card from Chris - the bear is sad but cute.
I have been watching C and C and was wondering if you are going to be stocking any of the new dies? I particularly like the dove of peace. I noticed that you had the icicle die already on your website so I ordered it yesterday and have had an email to say it is on its way.
Enjoy your knit and natter and your trip to meet Kim. We are have a BBQ today with some college friends so I am looking forward to that.

I have been enjoying some of Kim's shows. Many of the new dies are enticing, but I won't rush into buying now - I'd rather wait to purchase from your website.

Enjoy your time with Kim tomorrow, hope you find somewhere really special for your meal.
The New Spellbinder Dies are superb, got my eye on one or two but will have to wait awhile and save some pennies, spent far too much on my crafts/sewing just lately!
Love Carolyn

Hi Christine, have watched a couple of the Spellbinders shows and like some of the new dies, but still have a few of the older ones which need another airing. Saw your trio of projects on the show which are really nice. It poses the question ... when are we going to see you back demonstrating on TV? Anne x
