Oops!

Hello friends
An 'oops!' came to light yesterday, a small batch of
December Charity Add-On Kits went out without the printed instructions.
I do apologise - it was one of those 'trying to keep all the plates spinning' days!

If you receive a kit and it is instruction-less then please send me an email
christine.emberson@blueyonder.co.uk
and I will reply with a copy of the instructions straight away.
Again, sorry about that.

How is the festive planning going?  My tree still isn't up, this is probably
the latest I've ever been!  But I'm still feeling festive so it is probably
time to share another Christmas card with you...
Again, this card is featured in this month's edition of Cardmaking and Papercraft
Magazine - it uses one of their free Christmas charms - a nice little tree.
The die featured is Layered Poinsettia...I love that die, but you already know that!
I'm always partial to a bit of music script paper too.

On the home front the headlines are:  Elliott is still coping well with his radiotherapy,
I'm becoming a demon daily driver on the M25!

Dehumidifier is working its magic and drying out the shop,
I am really trying to be patient about it! really really really trying!!

I will be back soon with more news about 'Knitters Wanted!'
Take care friends.

Hi Christine. Good to hear that Elliott is coping ok at he moment, long may that continue! We haven't got our tree and decs up yet either after saying it was going to happen last Sunday, never mind maybe this weekend. Love the card, I am with you on the poinsettia die, just beautiful. Glad that the shop is drying out, it must be so frustrating though for you :( I have been racking my brain about the knitting statement, I will keep on guessing and then you will say it is something totally different Are we going to be knitting for a charity, (prem baby hats)?:) Take care.

Morning Christine,
Pleased that Elliot is coping okay, it must be very stressful for you both, and it's certainly no pleasure driving around the M25 in the rush hour, don't envy you that.
Not a knitter myself, but have been wondering what you have in mind.
Love the card today the script paper is lovely.
Take care.

Morning Christine, I put my Christmas lights outside yesterday, I have a growing Christmas tree in a pot at the front and 2 at the back, but only got the front lights done, they are also threaded into the Wisteria and the climbing Hydrangea, they look gorgeous. I gave one of my Christmas trees to my nextdoor neighbour in the summer as she was always complimenting me on it, and she put lights on it last weekend, I usually don't put mine up until after my Birthday on 12th, but loved hers so much that mine came out yesterday haha.
I love your Christmas card, lovely colours, and my fave poinsettia.
Another courage bead for Elliott, well done, and another day ticked off, your car will know it's own way down the M25 soon, Christine haha.
Lots of love and huge hugs from Patricia xx

Hi Christine
Just loving the cards that you have been showing us. I to love this poinsettia. Just love the papers you are using on yours though. Glad that Elliot is still doing ok with his radiotherapy. Glad that your shop is well on the way to being dried out. My partner has a theory regarding queues. we seem to be standing still in a queue, all of a sudden it seems to clear and you are motoring along. He claims that a big hole opens up and swallows a lot of the cards. this is why all of a sudden queues clear. Not bad as theories go, just hope that I'm not in a car when the hole opens up.

Hi Christine
I love your card you have made. Your infamous poinsettia sets it off a treat!
So pleased to hear that Elliot is coping well with his visits to Kings. It must make things easier for you too.
Sounds like your studio is coming along too, phew!
We hope to buy the tree and get our decorations up over the next few days...we'll see!

So glad to hear things are progressing well. My kit arrived this morning and I am thrilled with it, not least because the bag has long handles and easily goes on my shoulder! Husband was allowed to open it and he was quite excited when he saw all the bits! Hugs xxx
