Pet Gallery Day (shop news and a little bit of craft!)

Hello friends
Pet Gallery Day!
Let me introduce you to Rolo Small aged 3
He is looking very happy and comfortable on a nice sofa with cushions.
Rolo is owned by Janice.
Rolo is a Border Terrier.
Janice explains that Rolo lives up to his name of Terrier as he can be a terror at times.
He loves small furry things and tries to "hunt" but not very successfully as he makes so much noise in his hunting attempts that whatever he is after gets plenty of warning!
Welcome to the Gallery Rolo - a tasty treat is on its way to you.

The final paperwork for the new studio/shop should be signed and sorted soon.
I've had the keys on loan for a week to get estimates for plastering, ceiling etc
but mostly I tended to just stand in there and imagine all the things I want to do!
The front Georgian window is quite large so I have to think of ways to make that look attractive -
I always like to hear ideas....I have VELCRO! :)
And now a card - I'm revisiting some of last year's cards, this is again created
with Cosmo Cricket - Odds and Ends paper.
Labels Twenty Two (with its bottom cut off!) makes the easel shape,
a smaller one cut with patterned paper.  Inked the edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink.
A polka dot Layered Poinsettia and a stamped tag threaded with ribbon.
The card folds back to stand up on a strip of patterned paper raised with 3D Foam Pads.
That's my little round up of news today, have a lovely day.
I'm back tomorrow.
Take care friends.

Hi Christine, sorry I had to delete my last comment, somehow my IPad came up with words I did not type.

Rolo is lovely, your shop will be amazing after you have added all your touches, and the card is beautiful.

Hi Christine,
well Rolo is sooo cute. I wonder if he is named after the chocolate. Here we go my sweet tooth talking again.
Your card is fabulous, and I love that idea of the shaped part of the die on the easel card. Must have a go at that one.
Your shop looks fab to me, when it's been sorted and decorated, I must try and visit you. I can see wonderful butterflies hanging in the windows somewhere. I'm sure you will make a superb job of what ever you decide on.
Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Love the card Christine, reminds me of the stage in a theatre, so endless possibilities there.
I am sure the shop will be stunning, it has such a pretty exterior. I am so looking forward to joining one of your classes next year. Anne.
