Friday Die Day

Hello friends
Lots to read today!
Pop that kettle on!

Firstly Friday Die Day coincides with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and Lawn Fawn Blog Hop.
My project will appear here at lunchtime.
There is a chance to win some goodies so well worth popping over there to leave a comment.
This week for Friday Die Day I am featuring......
Spellbinders have hit upon this brilliant idea of Accents and Motifs and have brought us some stunning designs.  A way to differentiate between sets is that there is always a long border-style die
within the Accents range.
You receive 7 die templates with this set.
This is how they look cut/embossed and stencilled.
Yes...of course, it is a tag!
I've chosen to stamp the background with a Ledger Stamp and on top with red Swirls.
I did this with the residue of ink left on my stamp pad - not precise or fussy,
I wanted an off centre, messier background!
I am positive there is better crafting terminology but I'm sure you know what I mean!
Using one of the pretty round die templates I cut/embossed a further one from red cardstock to place
behind as a shadow.  I stamped a sentiment - off centre.
I also cut/embossed more of the border die template to place behind making a continuous pattern.
Opted for a piece of dotty ribbon.
I used 3D foam pads to raise up the central feature and added some tiny flowers - Bitty Blossoms,
an extra Fleur de Lis die cut and some red satin ribbon.
A close up - from quite a messy background to a somewhat elegant tag!
If Fleur de Lis Accents and Motifs have appealed to you, they are available in my Amazon shop.
I'm thinking that they are also a little bit snowflake shape...
Thank you all for your great support with Friday Die Day and thank you for photos for the future Pet Gallery, so far I have a cat, dogs and chickens!
Please send photos along, I don't want to leave any pets out!
I am back tomorrow.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Christine, I just adore your tags which are a great way to use up bits bad pieces left over from other projects. Friday die day is a good showcase for seeing dies that may not get shown to their full potential. Keep bringing them to us.

Thanks.

Hi Christine,
Another great die day thank you I love the way your tag finished. Is this how you designed it or did you just go with the flow. I don't have theses dies but have some that would work just as well so will be trying this.
Have a good day.

Hi Christine,
for once I can say I have this die.
Very beautiful tag.
This die is quite useful. I have used the long edged part as a ruler to pierce holes in my card. So if you haven't the proper ruler you can use it instead.
Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
