Hello friends
Yesterday I went on a little search for this building - it is Thames House
Bed and Breakfast. I had heard that a lady attending one of my class was going to stay here and I thought
I would go and have a nose!
It turns out it is about a 2 minute walk away from my crafty studio!
The lovely owner Claire, showed me around the beautiful bedrooms all with views over the river. Each room has its own immaculate bathroom. It is so nice I was tempted to ask if I could move in!
It is going to be an ideal place for those of you who live further afield and if you wish to attend one
of my full day or weekend classes. The reviews on Trip Advisor are amazing too.
So there's a thought...
I've said to the owner that I will speak with her when I am planning certain classes to make sure she has availability just in case...
Now for something crafty...
How about a frame with a difference?
I created this for Spellbinders™ and it has now appeared in their Idea Gallery,
it looks a little different over there because they have chosen to back it with a different colour -
I can't quite decide which I prefer. It features the very pretty ornate Antique Frames and Accents.
I chose to decorate each one with various die cuts and extras.
The frame is from Ikea, one of their wooden ones that come in a pack.
I roughly painted it, stamped and inked the edges - crafting on a budget! :)
Have a good Tuesday dear friends.

Hi Christine, there you go tempting me again by displaying a place to stay if I come to your workshops. It looks delightful so will have to seriously think about coming down. I love your idea of using frames makes a card more of a gift. This one is so beautiful but simple to make. Thanks for all your wonderful creations.
Wilma
I do like this die set and love what you have done with the frame .Melanie
Hi Christine,
another wonderful frame. I'm getting very tempted now to decorate one. Thames House looks really a fantastic place to stay.
Have a wonderful crafty day everyone.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
A great idea and a nice way to use frames in a different way.
Morning Christine, What a gorgeous frame, it is beautiful, I had to pop over to spellbinders via your link to check if I have those dies, because they looked so different how you have used them. This is a truly gorgeous frame.

Very pretty Christine, another must have die set! Have just taken a look at your frame on the Spellbinder idea gallery, I think the darker background just brings out the DI accenting on the frames and the colour on the centre one too. The lighter background gives it a softer feel perhaps to hang in one of those gorgeous bedrooms in Thames House! What a lovely place to stay, very tempting x
Fabulous frame Christine I love those dies - sigh! The guest house looks lovely I may have to treat myself when things settle down here. Hugs Susan x

I just love you work!!!
Hi Christine, I went over to the gallery, theirs does show the dies up quite well but I do like yours because the colours are more muted and I think they match the frame better.
Thames House looks fabulous, I wonder if my Son and DIL would mind if I stayed there instead of their lovely house........lol.
Crafty hugs, Anne x

Looks like a B&B with real character Christine - how handy for your studio. Love the frame - it is such a pretty and restful colour scheme
Hi Christine, Very late today, have been out to the Cotswalds with Hubby. Our favourite places right on our doorstep.
Thames House looks superb, I love that type of architecture, it would be a wonderful place to stay so one could attend your weekend workshop in the future.
What a lovely idea for the frame, very different, the colours and design lean towards being scandinavian/shabby chic.
