Friday Die Day

Hello friends
It's FDD!
(Okay for those who may be new to my blog it means...Friday Die Day).
I was trying to think how long I've been doing FDD, it runs into many months now and I still have so many dies to show you!
A while ago I was requested to feature Foliage Two -
sorry for the delay but I've only just purchased this die set myself...it's lovely!

You receive 11 dies in total.
This is how they look cut/embossed.
They are all a finer, more delicate design than Foliage, perfect as we now have a wonderful
assortment of leaves to accompany our flowers, projects etc.
Tag time!
I've placed a piece of inked patterned paper over a regular tag, added some grossgrain ribbon and lace.
I then tried to see if I could use every foliage die cut!
I nearly did it...
And with all that foliage I needed a flower...
It's a flower created from vellum and Rose Creations ..again!
Oh dear - an addiction right now.

For those that asked what camera I use it is a Canon EOS 1000D
(goodness that sounds like I know what I'm talking about..I actually had to get the manual out to check!)
This weekend I'm planning on being in my crafty studio for many hours, I have quite a lot of work to do and I've got some box sets of DVDs to watch..I do enjoy a good film while I'm crafting.
Have a brilliant weekend dear friends.
I'm back tomorrow.

Hi Christine,
love, love, these dies. I didn't realize there were these dies out. I must have these, they look very versatile. They look so fab on your project. Not sure about the ribbon though. Maybe the picture doesn't do it justice.
Have a wonderful crafty day everyone.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Morning Christine, I love these dies, another onto the wish list, they are so versatile and could be used constantly with flowers. I adore your tag and your rose creations flower onto vellum is my favourite too. Like Jenny, I'm not too sure about the ribbon though, to me it seems masculine and doesn't seem to go with the lace, which is gorgeous. Have a great weekend in your Studio, although I don't know how you can concentrate on a box set and at the same time craft ha ha !!, when I'm crafting I usually have tv on in the background, but wouldn't be able to concentrate on doing more than the crafting ha ha !! Lots of love from Patricia xx

Morning Christine

I love leaves they just add that finishing touch. That rose looks gorgeous, is it just vellum or has it been glazed?

Hi Christine, it is a beautiful die, so versatile and looks gorgeous on your tag with the drop dead gorgeous flower (I have tried it but mine comes out looking quite pale). I think the ribbon is beautiful, but I have seen it 'live', so to speak and I do love stripes. Beautiful tag! Crafty hugs, Anne x

Hi Christine - these dies are lovely. I love the foliage/swirly types. As usual you have made a gorgeous tag with such a beautiful flower.

I don't know how you manage to watch your DVDs and craft - I do the same and then get intrigued in the plot of whatever I am watching and forget to craft! I had a parcel yesterday of 7 new die sets from Spellbinders - mmmm am just settling down to have a play.

Hugs to you Sue P xxx

Christine,
I was wondering what you colored your velum with for making the rose?
I got this leaf set 2 days ago, have not had a chance to use it yet.
