Floral Box Frame

Hello friends,
Monday - already!  I'm sure the weekends are on fast forward.
Today's project is appearing over on Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
I found this little box frame in...Primark!  They have them in black and white and they only cost £1!
If you zip over to their blog I've done a step by step tutorial of how I put this project together.
As always I truly appreciate if you have time to leave a comment there -
I'm proving to them how fantastic UK blog followers are :)

I do so love Bitty Blossoms
I'm now a fully fledged distributor for Scrapbook Adhesives, I appear on their website :)
Should you wish to make any purchases you can go through my Amazon shop or just email for details.
So....yesterday...
The photography course was very informative.  I now have to try to remember everything, I think it is a case of taking lots of photos and getting used to turning my camera off of auto.
I have some shots to share with you....
All on manual, working out the lighting, shutter speed and more!
We found out about 'depth of field' - focused at the front and then fuzzy and fading.
(You will appreciate the terminology was far more professional than I am explaining here!)
Probably the first time in my life I've photographed a line of wheelbarrows!
I like this one, focus on the stable door (and washing up brush!) and the horse is fuzzy - I was improving!
Very useful tips about where to position people in photos.
And then one taken by the professional...
I am amazed at what my camera is actually capable of, I've been very lazy just snapping away!

One more thing (such a long blog post today!)
The Autumn Card and Gift Box class taking place on 13 October is now full but I am running it again the following week, Saturday 20 October - all details can be found here
or click on the 'Spellbinders Academy' button in my sidebar.
Back tomorrow friends.
Take care.

Beautiful frame Christine - your photos are great - not a skill I possess I seem to be following in my late dad's footsteps as he always cut a bit of a body off Lol! Good luck with your next workshop day

Hi Christine, love the box frame and glad you enjoyed the course. I feel very guilty that about 15 years ago, when we still had film, I took classes for a year, even had a dark room, but then digital came along and I got so busy that (hangs head), I not longer take the time to switch to manual :( Carole Z X

Hi Christine

I love those box frames and what a bargain!!! Might have to ask my daughter who works in town to pick me up a couple if there are any in our backwater. The London store seems to have so much more choice

Your photos are really good, I just point and click and keep my fingers crossed lol

I love this project Christine. I popped to our local Primark today to get some of the frames but they didn't have any so I'll have to try elsewhere as I really want to have a go at this one.
