Butterflies are back!

Hello friends,
I can at last share with you a favourite card of mine.
I created this for Spellbinders some months back and it was one of those cards
I didn't want to send off - I really wanted to keep it!
It has now appeared in the Idea Gallery with all the details.
I adore Les Papillions.
Sue - the font I used on yesterday's chocolate bar is Edwardian Script,
it is nice, floaty and old fashioned.

Other news to share with you -
if you happen to be near the Kent Coast tomorrow a lovely lady named
Marion has organised a coffee and craft event to raise money for Macmillan
It is at 9am to 1pm.
Venue: Westgate Town Hall Buildings, 31 St Mildred's Rd, CR8 8RE
For more information contact SMART on 01843-843318 or
I would have love to have gone along but that London work of mine gets in the way!

Marion has in fact decided to start a craft club and I will be travelling down to the coast to host some classes before Christmas, I will post all the details as soon as they are confirmed.
Hope you are keeping warm and dry wherever you are today -
Autumn has well and truly arrived!
Take care.

Wow, this one is really REALLY pretty - I love the background butterfly paper, which sets off the free standing ones. So elegant, no I don't think I could part with it either.

Beautiful card Christine. The butterflies really stand out.

I have many happy memories of Westgate, as we used to go there for the day when I was a child, it's such a lovely place to visit. A very nice place to have a coffee morning!. Good luck to Marion!

Truly beautiful card Christine. Love the butterflys and the way you have cut the ribbon on a slant. Really pretty word stamp as well. Looks like rain here in Spain today but we haven't had a full day of it in our area since February so it's sorely needed.

Morning Christine, This card is stunning, I love the colours, very autumnal, and the flowers are gorgeous, I love everything about it, I willl pop over to the Idea Gallery shortly to see how you have done it. It is absolutely gorgeous.
If you get a minute, pop over to Cardsarus Blog, Jenny has flying butterflies down the right hand side of her Blog, they are gorgeous, you will love them Christine.
Val in Spain, I will put a funnel into the sky above where I live and channel it over to you in Spain. In the North West we get more rain than anywhere else, I think, it has rained constantly here, really heavily too, for the past 3 days, today is looking promising, although when the weather came on this morning everywhere was going to have a pretty much dry day, except the North West, typical ha ha !!!!!
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Christine,
What a wonderful card, love the background paper you have used and the butterfly dies are on my wish list which is so long now that I don't think I'll ever see it fulfilled.
Will go over to the Spellbinders site and leave a comment.
Have a good day.

A lovely card Christine, like you, I have fallen in love with those butterfly dies & nearly every make has one of them on at the moment. I like the stamp you have used for the sentiment on this card or is it text from your computer?
