Kindness

Hello friends,
Today's card is especially for all my followers and for the kind comments and emails that you send to me.
I love hearing about your own craft, pets and more.
All the messages really do touch my heart so thank you....
I think this is very much a Victorian style card.  I used the Classic Triple Scallop Edgeabilties® to create a pretty edge, Labels Twenty Two for the sentiment and some black pearl swirls.
Again, it is simply constructed but one of my favourites.

I have some more pictures to share with you from the Bluewater Craft event.
On display were some of the dresses from Downton Abbey, I'm a huge fan and I'm now
re-watching all the episodes on DVD while I craft.
To get up close and look at these was truly wonderful.
 Lady Mary Crawley's red number...
Oh my..that is a hat - a truly beautiful hat!
Lady Sybil Crawley's outfit that caused a stir...love the detail...
I'm back tomorrow with another project and my final Bluewater craft event photos.
Bye for now and thank you for visiting.

A gorgeous very elegant card, love it!

Also, what a treat to see these Downton Abbey dresses in the flesh! Like you I am a huge fan. I missed the lot when they were on the telly but got all the DVDs for Christmas and believe it or not, just watched the last one (Christmas and Downton) last night. I think I'll have to watch them all again now...

Such an elegant card. I never would have thought to use gray as a main color but it works so well.

Christine, the card is absolutely stunning, love the papers and the die. People write and comment "because you are worth it" to quote the advert! Thank you for showing us the Downton Abbey clothes, they are beautiful - and that hat, wow.

Christine I just love todays card. It is a perfect creation to be sent as a Thank You and would even make a lovely wedding invitation, and thank you for 'sending' it to us, we love hearing about you and yours too.
Oh how lovely, we are all Downton Abbey fans. I think Julian Fellowes is a reincarnation of a Victorian author as he writes with such understanding of the times. I am a great lover of any of the period dramas inc Larkrise to Candleford by Flora Thompson and of course any of the works of Jane Austen etc. When they are on, quiet must be observed ;)..LOL!!
Well have a good evening

Oh to live in that era and dress like that everyday! Not totally practical though I suppose!
I love the black and white card, I sometimes think that colour way makes the nicest cards.
