A Beautiful Gatefold and a trip to Ikea

Hello friends

How is your week going so far?
Yesterday Mitchell and I ventured to Lakeside (Essex)
specifically to visit Ikea.  Thankfully it wasn't too busy and we got
everything we needed within an hour.

So...what was we buying?
Among other things (that I didn't actually go to buy!)
we purchased a table and storage drawers to create an area for photography
and videos.  This is Mitchell's new role for Hope and Chances.
Along with helping me with Facebook Live he is going to
be shooting other videos and taking project photos.
We have complicated lights arriving tomorrow!
Elliott is still on hand when he isn't at Uni and studying hard,
I am grateful that Mitchell is stepping in to help because sometimes
it all gets a little bit hectic.
The idea is that it frees me up to craft more...I like the sound of that!

Talking of's card is very simple.
So simple it uses just two colours of cardstock and two die cuts.
The die is the very beautiful Floral Gatefold.

This is a really good sized die and makes an impressive card in minutes.
Simply by folding down the score line and creating a gatefold,
white on midnight blue cardstock.

I chose to use some twine to keep the card closed.
You could of course use ribbon and also add a message/invitation inside .

So much cut out detail with this die, look at those leaves!
I've got a thing about leaves right now.

Floral Gatefold is available on the website here
and for a limited time the price has been reduced.

Please stop by tomorrow for Friday Die Day.
Take care friends and it's nearly the weekend.

Hi Christine
That is such a beautiful Die and card, just love it.
Have you seen the the wall peg board storage for craft items at IKEA. It's brilliant. My sister and I have bought a lot of it and it has totally transformed my craft room,, i can see everything I need, rather than hunting around. I'll take a photo for you later.

Hi Christine, You have both been 'busy bees', I was amazed when you said it didn't take you long at IKEA, in my local Ikea you go in at one door, and have to walk round and round and round and round in circles, it seems to take hours before you get to where you want to be hahaha.
So glad that you are getting all this help from Mitchell and also Elliott when he's around, they are such good boys. When you get your techy lighting you will be all set for your next 'Live'.
A lovely die set and a very pretty card.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
