Friday Die Day

Hello friends

Welcome to Friday Die Day and this week it is majestic...Majestic Oval.
This die set comprises of three dies and the approximate measurements are:

1: 2⅜ x 1⅜”
2: 3⅜ x 2⅜”
3: 4⅛ x 5⅜”

This is how it looks cut/embossed.
I chose to use die templates 2 and 3, stamped 'Thinking of You' on the smaller one.
My card base is white card, patterned paper (scrap box) and rounded the corners.
Flowers are...yes Marisa's Bouquet (now back in stock).
Assembled my flowers and mounted the oval with 3D Foam Squares.
The finished card - I kept it fairly neutral.
I like to do this with more intricate dies so it doesn't detract from their beauty.
Pearls to the flower centres, always makes them pop.
Close up pics.

Today thanking Elliott for all his watermarking skills.

He deals with all of those things, I email them all off to him (he's in the next room!)
and they come back organised and watermarked - a pretty good service.
I just need him to start typing blog posts...
I could lay on the sofa and dictate...Barbara Cartland style! only kidding!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
Take care friends.

Good morning Christine
Another beautiful card. The backing paper is lovely - it's amazing what we find in our scrap boxes! I am getting very tempted by Marissa bouquet - it looks like a very useful die set to own.
I wish I had someone like Elliott - I hate editing my photos. My eldest son used to do it for me then he went to uni and I have had to learn how to do it myself. I still need to learn how to do a watermark and how to add them. I must ask him before he disappears again.
Enjoy your day. I will be running around the house in headless chicken mode trying to spur the family into action to get ready for our holidays.
Take care
Lesley
PS I can just see you in true diva mode!!

Morning Christine,
A very pretty card. Wish I had a someone like Elliot to hand, I get so frustrated when I can't do something technical.

Hello Christine,
I love this elegant card, it's so pretty.
Does Elliott give private lessons. I don't need to do all that fancy stuff, I just need to know what I am doing !!!! lol
By the way, I think you'd look good in pink lying on a chaise lounge, dictating!!!!

Such a beautiful card. Marisa's Bouquet is proving very versatile and the Majestic Ovals are lovely. Extremely tempting. Thumbs up to Elliott and his technical skills, I wouldn't know where to start with that!

Good morning Christine clean and simple with the lovely backing paper. I think you have got us all dreaming about lounging about today - only problem is none of us have the servants to deal with everything that needs doing!! Have a good weekend, best wishes Jackie x

Ah, but you would have to have your hair done every day, over do the make up, big time, and wear a lot of floaty pink things, Christine, if you wanted to do Barbara!

Love the dies and the card, very pretty.

Hi Christine, This card is fabulous, especially that backing paper and the dies look beautiful.
It made me chuckle when you said you email Elliott in the other room, that's the 'way to do it' but it did make me smile.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
