Friday Die Day

Hello friends

It's Friday and in my blogosphere that means...Friday Die Day!
This week I am featuring Decorative Curved Square.

The approximate measurements are:

Leaf 1: ½ x ½”
Leaf 2: ⅝ x ⅝”
Accent: 1⅝ x 1”
Square 1: 2½ x 2⅝”
Square 2: 4⅛ x 4¾”

This is how it looks cut/embossed.
For my card design I chose to use the largest square die #2.
I cut/embossed Curved Square die #4 from kraft card to place in the centre.
I also used Flower Play to create two flowers and leaves.
My card base is 6 x 6 Matting Basics.
6 x 6 Matting Basics A #7 for cream card and 6 x 6 Matting Basics B #7 for the kraft.
I began to layer my card, adhering the cream Decorative Curved Square die cut
with Crafty Foam Tape.  I added some twine and a hand cut stamped banner.
The Flower Play flowers in place, Wild Honey distress ink on the edges.
The finished card.
A close up pic.
And a different view!
Mitchell 'modelling' my card with a non interested Bella!
All the dies used today are available on the website.
Each one is highlighted with a link to take you straight there :)

Wishing you all a wonderful sunny weekend.
I'm at home this weekend and intending to craft...loads!

Take care friends.

Morning Christine
This is a gorgeous card today, the dies make it look very classy. I do love using kraft card myself. Have you used enamel dots for the flower centres? They make a lovely change.
Great photo of Mitchell and Bella!
Enjoy your crafty weekend.

Good morning Christine
Another pretty dies and an unusual shape too. As always I gorgeous card too.
Mitchell's modelling adds a whole new dimension to your cards - I think you should always photograph your cards this way!
I am off to Doncaster craft show tomorrow hoping for some inspiration. Mr Mojo has gone on his holidays at the moment and I desperately need him to come home.
Enjoy your "crafty" weekend.

Super card Christine. the die set is gorgeous and when you have a set you love, it seems so much easier to be inspired by it. (love the animated card stand you have, too, LOL)

I can't believe the die you used today. I was online last night humming and hawing about whether to get it. Couldn't find many examples of cards made using it. So happy to see it today. Must get it now. Love your two models. Gillian x
