Fast selling!

Hello friends

Again, this month's kit is a sell out!

Thank you so much to those who purchased, they all went out yesterday so
they should be landing on doormats very soon.
I'm already thinking about August's...!

So are you melting?

Yesterday's weather was hot hot hot - up to 34 degrees here in the South East,
Gravesend is a little hot spot - honestly I crave Winter,
I'm not a lover of Summer.

Bella is finding cool places to lay down and the cats are foolishly sunbathing!

Yesterday Spellbinders released a video with a sneak peek of the new
Platinum machine.  The dates I've received so far is that it should reach the UK
late August/early September.  I'm afraid I do not know about price just yet.

Please take a look at the video....
Cuts up to 8 layers in a single pass!
Cuts over 40 different materials!
And much more...
Really excited about this machine and I will pass on any more information
the minute I have it.

Please stop by tomorrow for Friday Die Day.
Take care friends.

Well done on the sell out. The new machine looks interesting if a bit "ugly"-just not a nice pretty shape.

HI Christine, I knew the kit would sell out quickly, I am really looking forward to playing with it! As for the machine, well my husband and crafty friends will tell you how many years I've been saying Spellbinders should bring out a machine to take the thicker dies and of course meanwhile a lot of us have the Big Shot...I love that as much as the GC and recently they have brought out a wider version for larger dies....I'm not interested in the electronic die cutters, so I think I'll have to way up the pros and cons of both maybe when Christmas comes along, lol :) hugs Carole Z X

Congratulations Christine on your sell out!
Another new machine coming on the market.....there seem to be so many to choose from these days. It looks interesting, but I'll stick with my Cuttlebug and eBosser.
Keep cool and enjoy your day.

Morning Christine,
The new machine looks good, but I have already purchased the Big Shot plus, as I was having so much trouble cutting with my G/C, and I'm very happy with it.
Gravesend has always been a hot spot, like you I don't like it too hot.
Hope you can keep cool in London today.

Hello Christine
This new machine looks expensive, the Grand doesn't seem to last long before turning the handle is hard work even for simple task!
I don't like this heat either..... not good for COPD so I stay inside!
Take care
Love Marg

New machine looks great Christine - though my GC is fine at the moment. However, it would be good to be able to cut the thick dies. Probably one for the wish list I think!
Have heard some negative comments about the electric die cutter but never tried it myself.

Hi Christine
Well I am so pleased that July charity kit was such an amazing success but a little disappointed
I missed out again, I just couldn't get organised yesterday ( bad day)!
But never mind I am genuinely over the moon at the success of the kits.
I am liking the look of the new machine, I had already made my mind up that
The new sizzix A4 machine was to be the replacement for my fourth grand Calibur as this one has
Started leaking oil too, I am so frustrated!!!!
But the new Platinum machine looks like a good competitor for the new sizzix A4 plus Big shot,
As it looks like the new steel rollers and gears will have the all over even pressure so you don't have
Place your dies on the outer perimeter of your cutting plate, which would be a huge bonus!
Now Christine, I hope that it is a little cooler for you today as you travel into London, I couldn't imagine a worse place
In those soaring temperatures!
You take it easy Christine,
Love and hugs
Sandra

Hi Christine, So glad that your charity kit was another sell out, well done.
I saw the sneak peek from Spellbinders of the new Platinum machine, it looks brilliant, I am curious to know the cost.
It was really hot yesterday, my hour on my treadmill in the afternoon was absolutely awful and my breathing is always bad when it is so hot. I look forward so much to the sunshine (I'm definitely NOT a Winter person haha) and I don't like to complain but I found it unbearable yesterday and then we got the massive thunder and lightening storms early evening which lasted for ages, but it is now much fresher, although my kittie had to go into her hidey hole while it was in full swing.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Christine
Unfortunately today is wet, wet, wet in the North West. It has remained warm tho. I am so please the charity kit was once again a sell out, I missed out once again - waiting patiently for pay day.
The new machine look really interesting especially if it will take other brands of dies like the Bigz dies. Looking forward to more info - could be a possible item for my Santa list!
Enjoy your day. I hope the commute isn't too unbearable.

Hi Christine,
I'm not surprised the Kit sold out so quickly.
I just use my Cuttlebug to cut the big Sissex dies. I do have a Big Shot but tend to stick to the Cuttlebug or the GC. (I also have the E-bosser, but I'm not impressed with it). So that's 4 machines which I was told I couldn't live without!!! I really couldn't justify buying yet another machine.
